A peaceful campsite in the country. Our campsite is on a private 1 acre section near our residence. You can enjoy watching the wildlife or stargazing at night. On site, you will have a cozy bed, hammock swings, outdoor shower, fire pit with grill, and an outhouse. Access to the nearby creek is just minutes away.
The Magnolia is a great place to escape from the city. Some of the wildlife you may see or hear are cows, squirrels, rabbits, owls, coyotes and our free range chickens. We do ask that you give us a heads up if you plan to brings dogs so we can keep them in their coop for the day.
Enjoy the stars from the hammock swings or lay a blanket out in the grass. We also allow tent camping for extra people beyond our 2 person limit for the building itself.

we loved staying in the a-frame. it was quiet and the stars were amazing at night. we had everything we needed and Jennifer was a great host. we’re already planning our return.

Finding the Magnolia is a little tricky with Google maps (it just pinned it as part of a school district!) but the bumpy drive is worth it. The camping area is tucked around behind the barn, so you don't even notice the family home. The tent is super cute, the hammock chairs comfy, and the star-viewing? Superb. It won't be for everyone, but Jennifer gives all the details in the listing, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the bathroom facilities are rustic. Overall, a lovely experience.
p.s. we got to cuddle with absolutely adorable outdoor cats during our stay, which was 10/10 for all participants!

This was a great experience, a getaway from the hustle and bustle enjoying the quietness. The fresh air really was amazing and I look forward to doing it again at the same place I connected with nature, spirituality, and I was able to forget about the responsibilities that keeps us all bogged down and just be at peace. I had a wonderful time.

Loved the outdoor shower with hot water. We purchased from Jennifer eggs from her chickens and they were delicious! Our dog loved the field and exploring. We were successful in cooking our food on the fire pit.

Highly recommend !
Great for couples, friends or even a solo getaway. Was greeted with a high vibrational energy from the family, very kind and welcoming - felt right at home.
Here, you can expect to enjoy the farm animals, sounds of nature and pitch dark nights perfect for star gazing.

Weekend Trip to The Magnolia
We had an amazing time! Loved cooking with the open fire and relaxing in the hammock chairs in the wooded countryside. Jennifer was a responsive, helpful, and kind host. We had plenty of privacy and space. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a glamping getaway!
