Seasonal note: Duck season is Nov 1 to Jan 25th, 2026.  Willow Grey Ranch is a 20 acre equestrian property sitting on the shores of Lake Ray Roberts - in a wildlife preserve area popular for fishing and duck hunting.  Although campers can see the main ranch house and horse barn, there are no neighbors in sight. Dark skies provide great star views at night.

Explore the 100 acre property that has 15 designated camp sights.... The closest two are about 100 yards apart.  All the sights are near trees. Some Giant evergreens but most are near one of the 200 year old Pecan trees.  Creeks meander through the woods and all meet on the South side of the property. 9 Horses, 20 donkeys and the friendliest mule ever! They Dot the property. Also deer, recoon, squirrel  and an occasional armadillo may visit.  A Great stocked pond and 3 other ponds make for beautiful fishing and photos etc.

Our camping area is a graded grass and dirt area off of a gravel driveway with shade trees and a lake view.  Enjoy a peaceful camping setting. There is a shared water hydrant for the campsites. 

For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away. 

We are located next door to 555 Vineyard and the Vineyard Tasting room. Also, check out downtown Valley View with local restaurants including Blue Bonnet Cafe, York N Ale, Hess Meat Market, and Firelight Vineyard just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away.

Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

EXPLORING LAKE TEXOMA
At Lake Texoma, on the Oklahoma-Texas border, you'll find plenty of activities to enjoy, especially watersports. The lake has plenty of shoreline, where you can swim.  And fishing at the lake is excellent. Expect to find largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, catfish, and bluegills. If you're interested in paddling on the lake, keep in mind that we offer kayak and paddleboard rentals.

The Marlin Spike On The Prairie

 This is a great property with a lot of potential for adventure. You can burn almost everything around responsibly. There is a lot of firewood. Right now there are no bathrooms or facilities of any kind except for a small goat shed. there is a ton of scrap metal and random random things in a pile great for digging and scrapping in all free. Finders keepers. 

There are some really old giant trees on the property. One is probably the largest tree I have ever seen in Collin County. There is a seasonal creek that runs through the back and sort of a swappy pond in the front.

The Prairie in the front is some sort of different grass than usual. It might be native buffalo grass or something else weird like that.

The property needs a lot of cleanup, so I would make a good to work campers or groups wanting a working party. The land could use some work, I could contribute a lot of free beer and food to people cleaning up the place before I build my house.

Campers are allowed to use the electricity and water at the RV campsites if they are available. There is also water and electricity available at other areas within the campground.

Relax in the swing and enjoy the day. Also available are horseshoes pit, Volleyball  area, and various games at the Office.

There is a quaint 10 room motel on the property in case of storms or hail. 

Charcoal Grills, Fire pits and portable BBQ's are available throughout the campground. Charcoal, lighter fluid and BBQ tools are available at the office.

This trailer was produced by Spartan Aircraft Company in Tulsa, OK.  Owned by oil tycoon, J. Paul Getty, the factory switched from making airplanes to making trailers shortly after World War II, using the same aluminum and manufacturing process used for the airplanes -- making these some of the finest trailers ever produced.  On our property we also have a 1957 Spartan Mansion, a 1955 Spartan Mansion, a 1953 Spartanette, a 1960 Airstream, a 1969 Airstream, a 1963 Avion, and a 1965 Streamline -- all unrestored and in various stages of disrepair.   Learn more about this land:The 1959 Imperial Villa is one of the largest and most luxurious trailers produced by Spartan Aircraft Co. This fully-restored vintage park model (10'x45', triple axle) offers all the comforts of home with amazing original mid-century modern furnishings.  Step back in time and experience the beauty and tranquility of simpler days on our 11-acre, mostly-wooded homesite. Constructed of aircraft aluminum, the all-original interior is birch accented by walnut and brass. Almost all the furnishings are period pieces, fascinating to see and experience -- like entering a hands-on museum from the 1950s. Nestled in the trees and surrounded on all sides by curtained windows, the interior living space has an open, yet cozy feeling. There's a full-sized bathtub/shower, a full-sized & fully equipped kitchen (though it is not fully stocked with food), an on-demand hot water heater, and a two-ton heat pump which thermostatically controls the climate.

Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake!
The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos!
We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding.
The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.&nbsp;
In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family.

Blue Lagoon Campgrounds

Blue Lagoon Campgrounds is a secluded recreational getaway with Red River beachfront access located in Whitesboro, Texas. Far enough from the city that you can relax the day away walking nature trails, hiking, canoeing on the river, playing beach volleyball, fishing for striper, throwing horseshoes, birdwatching, and gathering around our community camp fire in the evenings.

We have a 24 unit RV lot with full hookups, and primitive tent spots. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly spaces are available to fit your needs with utilities included for nightly and weekly stays.

Camp Tonkawa Woods & Horse Camp

In the early 1900’s an iconic red barn was built near the hilltop along the road between the old Mt. Zion community and Collinsville. Later in the 1900’s, the land was mostly abandoned by its owners, but not by the local fishermen! They knew its woodland fishing pond never dried up, and so was able to support a better population of fish. They also dumped a cornucopia of old motorcycles, cars and farm equipment in the front field. What else were you supposed to do with scrap metal in North Texas horse country?

In 2002 the Holtzman family purchased the 35 acre tract of land. They dug a front pond for swimming and paddling, buried the scrap metal (although occasional bits of history still work their way up!), restored and brought horses back to the barn, and began consulting with local biologists about supporting native wildlife.   

April Holtzman launched Camp Tonkawa Outdoor Learning Center on the property to provide a beautiful, safe place for families to explore and learn about nature.  Camp Tonkawa continues to host overnight and day camps with educational programing organized around various themes including: Native American culture, nature awareness, basic camping skills, primitive survival, organic gardening, herbology, outdoor cooking, western days, and horsemanship. We also host field trips and frequently conduct Girl Scout journeys for all levels in the "It's Your Planet, Love it!" series.

Due to Covid-19, which limited working with groups for our educational programing, we joined Hip Camp where families who could isolate in nature together on our property. 

Hammocks come with mosquito netting and also have rain flys if needed.
