“The Nook” A-frame

“The Nook” is a A-frame pier and beam house built over 40 years ago. The house has been through a number of renovations and updates to get it to its current rustic yet chic state. The back porch was extended to a massive 700 sqft to comfortably gaze at the 1 acre pond or watch for wildlife and appreciate the biodiversity. Parking is to the front left of the house and to the back left there is a fire pit where guests can enjoy getting cozy in the hanging chairs while viewing the starry night. In the storage box outside the back porch we provide some simple fishing equipment, fold out chairs, and portable shade structures. Interested in observing the pond up close? Take out the kayaks and paddle to see sunfish, turtles, frogs, and possibly a non-venomous, safe, yellow-bellied water snake. Inside the house, guests will enjoy the downstairs with modern comforts of a fully equipped kitchen (no ice maker, but there are ice trays and a fridge with freezer), fully equipped bathroom with a steamy hot walk-in shower, smart TV with dvd player, dining area, a pull-out couch for two, and an oversized floor cushion for extra seating and relaxation. Additionally, we provide outdoor dog bowls, flashlights, fire-roasting sticks, games, dvds, umbrellas, a small cooler, blankets, office supplies, towels, basic bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner, soap, starter toilet paper), basic cooking supplies (spices, sugar, flour, etc., starter paper towels, starter trash bags). We also provide a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, toolkit of general tools, and a small amount of bug spray and sunscreen, if needed. Upstairs, guests will appreciate the spacious and relaxing full bedroom with a king size bed (can be separated into 2 twin XL’s), an extra large chaise lounge, 2 small closets for hanging clothes and storage, and various chests of drawers for extra storage.
