The perfect stop on my road trip! Aislynn’s farm was very peaceful and still convenient to Corpus Christi and Padre Island. The outhouse bathroom was very nice and it was amazing to be able to cook in the pavilion. Definitely recommend!

3 nights at A Pirates' Paradise

We have a big rig that backed into space easily which is a blessing. The full hook-up (50 amp electric, water and sewer connection) worked like a charm. The neighborhood is walking distance to the beach and some cool local hangouts. It was a quiet safe spot and we loved it. Fulton and Rockport have cool tourist shops, a really great HEB grocery store and good easy access gas stations. Thank you Patrick.

This South Texas spot was a hidden gem. We pitched on a lovely homestead under a beautiful tree with longhorns and pot belly pigs as our neighbors. The host, Aislynn was welcoming and full of knowledge and we enjoyed getting to know her. I definitely recommend this spot for all hipcampers.

This hidden gem should not be missed! Camped under a beautiful tree with easy access to electricity, water and outhouse. Great experience on homestead with incredible host, longhorns, pigs, chickens and beautiful vegetable gardens. We were close to stores and restaurants if needed and extended trip because we didn’t want to leave. If we could we’d stay even longer! Thank you Aislynn for an amazing experience we will never forget.

Weekend Trip to A Pirates' Paradise

This is a nice spot within walking distance of restaurants, bars and the Fulton pier. Property was clean and well kept. This is a good pet friendly spot too, the Moondog restaurant is a couple of blocks away and allowed us to walk through and sit on their back deck with our dog, As well as a bar around the corner called lulu's. We had a little issue with the lockbox for the power when we arrived later in the evening, but Patrick was very quick to respond and pleasant to work with, he came out and had us fixed up quickly. We would/will definitely use this property again!

3 nights at Carly's Bait And Boondocking

Please Note: We tent camp to fish so our experience was based on mostly fishing. We had a great time! This spot is about 100 yards from the beach. There is a public bathroom and outdoor showers nearby. There are piers and small jetties to fish from close by. There is a boat ramp about 5mins away at Indianola. Marc has a nice little setup on the back end of the camp for some fishing and we were easily able to launch kayaks into the saltwater lake/marsh. Saw tons of big reds. Unfortunately, the wind (20s sustained & 40mph gust) limited our time and range on the kayaks. Even so, we were able to catch a nice slot red in the marsh that we gifted to Marc. Definitely don't recommend wade fishing back there due to the soil being very muddy/soft and is a major safety hazard. 1 step and your leg is calf deep in the mud (wouldn't wanna get stuck or sucked into the deeper parts of the lake). Marc was great and we definitely plan to revist in the summer.

4 nights at Dead End Creek

Cool camping spot that you wouldn’t expect in a place like Goliad. We stayed in the Skulltree camp and the shade the two oak trees produce is perfect on warmer days. It stays ten to fifteen degrees cooler in the shade. Plenty of space to set up camp, there were quite a few fire ant mounds within the campsite so be careful for that. Hosts were fantastic, great communication prior to showing up, and they leave you be, wish we really loved and appreciate! Would highly recommend!!

Quiet, close to restaurants and a nice little coffee shop. Walked downtown every morning with my dog and it was great to walk by the water. No shell picking or bike riding but was fabulous visit. Lots of room with private drive. I really can't say enough!

This is a tranquil spot where you can see the sunrise over the ocean in front of the property and the sunset over an estuary behind the property. Quiet base from which to walk the beach, bike on Ocean drive, fish, and more. Marc is a great host and knows the local scene very well.

Aislynn was super welcoming and very informative about her gardens, animals, organic farming etc. we had an amazing site with gorgeous sunsets and the facilities were beautifully decorated and available to us. Nestled near St. Charles and Aransas Bays, this Texas state park is all about the water. We're talking boating, kayaking, fishing, and birdwatching along the coast. The only thing you can't do is swim. (Sorry.) That said, there's plenty of luck to be had on the 1,620-foot fishing pier. A boat launch and kayak/canoe launch are also available. Remember to bring your own boat! No stay is complete without visiting the main attraction—a 1,000-year-old oak lovingly dubbed The Big Tree. (Don't worry, it's still standing strong in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.) We primarily cater to month to month guests working in the area so there's not a ton of activities around, but my wife and I are full-time RV'ers so we are hosts as a way to give back to our awesome community. We are located super close to Magnolia Beach though where there is free beach camping for 14 nights! Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.
