This was my 5th or 6th trip out to the cabin and I plan on returning many times. John is a great host, the lake is really nice with great fishing and swimming, cabin is very stout with good options for cooking and there is also great BBQ nearby in Stephenville. Now, it is rustic and a little wild. If you are scared of spiders or the occasional watersnake, maybe it's not for you but you're missing out! Made lots of great memories out here, highly recommend.

It was exactly as advertised. The river was low. Rainfall is needed. But….we will stay there again. If you want a camping experience off the beaten path, this is it. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at John's cabin, and it was the perfect get away for us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the peaceful sound of nature and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We hiked around the property, fished in the lake, and sat around the fire pit at night. John has beautiful land that feels far away from hustle and bustle of our day to day lives. Absolutely beautiful perfectly manicured landscaped resort campground. The swimming pool was also at a resort quality level. The campground was hilly making the views breathtaking.
