Weekend Trip to Nauti Pelican

Property is nice,clean,and is situated in a well maintained área of Bolivar. Mike is very friedly and helpful. The fenced in yard was a true blessing. We had two couples and 2 separate campers, one pulled in the other backed in and there was amañe sauced to set up tables and cooking equipment in between. Highly recommend

We only stopped for the night, but we wish we had the time to stay longer! It was so nice and relaxing! We loved that when we woke up there was a horse out our window. If we are ever in the area again we will try to stay again!!

The fenced-in yard is an absolute bonus, especially for dog owners—my pups had the freedom to run around off-leash, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The outdoor shower with both hot and cold water is a fantastic feature, along with the charming outdoor swing that adds a relaxing touch to your evening. The patio area is well-lit, perfect for enjoying the space after dark. You’re also in a prime location, close to local stores and Tia Juanita's Fish Camp, where the food is amazing! And if you're looking to explore, it’s just a quick trip to the ferry and then you're off to Galveston Island. I loved walking around this property and camping next to the pond. (I saw the alligator!) Listening to the frogs and birds; seeing the goats, peacocks, emu, turkey, pigs, horses and chickens!

Loved having a fenced yard for our pup! Tim was great and had great communication! (He even communicated even though on a trip of his own with no cell service!) Nice and private with minimal neighbors using their spots even though it was spring break! Would highly recommend!

My daughter loved all the animals. Especially the baby pig and goat. She has a kind heart and appreciated the family caring for the blind dalmatian and Harry Potter who has terminal cancer but appeared very much alive and active on their farm. We appreciated Alyssa's very informative nature walk. We enjoyed our very egg selection. Best wishes from our family to yours. Someday I would love to own a piece of land like yours

A truly wonderful place to spend a couple of days and even more if you have the time! An oasis by the pond. So many friendly animals to enjoy, pet and watch their antics. Highly recommend!!! Piper (the baby goat), Figgyduff (2 week old piglet) and Wobbles (the tiny dog amongst the giants). Wonderful hosts to both people and animals alike (they just took in a Great Dane and are providing hospice care for her❤️) Jocelyne

Love Love Love! It was exactly what we were looking for! It is very simple and not fancy but has everything you need! Can fish from the grass and use the dock for crabbing! Has the green lights which is a bonus for fishers and the crabbing net was great! I appreciate all the detailed instructions before arrival, made the setup easy and definitely appreciated the heads up about the mosquitos! We didn’t see any until dark and we were able to utilize the out door screened in space for dinner! The fenced yard is great, we had fur babies and it was nice to let them run around! Not many of the lots had a full fence so it was definitely a bonus! Tim was a great host and is very accommodating! We will be back very soon!

We loved camping at Snow White Sanctuary! We were able to get the one 50 amp spot, filled our fresh water tank & was able to use our camper bathroom, but hubby used the shower on site and said it was clean, had great water pressure and hot water! Our daughter loved exploring the land with friends she made while there and we were always at ease knowing she was safe to venture off. The animals free roaming was so cool. Only down fall to that is mostly the horse manure scattered about, we had to clean our camp site of manure before we could park our RV and the common area by fire pit & playground could use a daily poop patrol in my opinion but otherwise awesome stay! Owners are very welcoming and let the kids help with feeding the animals! We tried the homemade goat milk ice cream and highly recommend it!!! We will definitely go back to camp there again!! Even when there were several campers it still did not feel crowded!! As long as you love farm life you will love your stay here!!!

A really beautiful place doing amazing things for animals that have been mistreated to or abandoned. Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re an animal lover and are really looking to get back to a real off the beat vibe.

Frequently see aquatic birds, eat from fruit trees, hike with goats, and enjoy a landscape balanced with both manicured design and uninhibited nature. Booking includes a complimentary handmade goat milk soap, free use of our paddleboat and kayak, and unlimited kisses from our affectionate pack of rescue dogs and herd of elderly rescued horses. Gravel driveway leads the way to a flat waterfront solid grass parking spot with 30amp RV hookups and fire circle. Guests have private entry access to a recently renovated bathroom with shower and tub. Snow White Sanctuary is a gated private property at the end of a dead end road. Parks and river access within walking distance, 30 minutes from Lake Charles, 2 hours from Houston, and less than one hour from beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. Some of our favorite local attractions include: Shangri-La Botanical Gardens, SPAR Waterpark, Delta Downs Racetrack, and Insane Sausages Cajun Food. We are a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campground.

Waterfront RV Port on Bolivar Peninsula. Water, sewer, and electric (20-30-50 amp panel) Covered RV spot with a screen porch. Property is fenced and dogs are welcome. The screened has a dining table with chairs, and also stores some patio chairs to use on the property. They are really great to sit on the dock! There is also a charcoal grill and a crab trap for you to use. (You need a fishing license and bait. Chicken bones works great!) Fishing is great here... the canals have been dredged and folks are catching right of the back of their lots. Community fishing area is on the end of both Van Sant and Mabry, Mabry has a boat ramp. These you cast right off a drop to the intracoastal. Beach Access via community gate at end of street. Combination for those will be shared in arrival instructions. Spot is a residential lot... It is 60 x 130. Canal City is a quiet residential area. The back side fronts on the water. You will probably see more seagulls and purple martins than people. We have weekly discounts. Message me and I can go over them because the Hipcamp platform makes them difficult. It works out to approximately 7 nights for the price of 5. Be prepared: Bolivar has mosquitoes. This is the coast. If it has rained they can be really bad. The county sprays on a regular rotation but it can be bad. They tend to swarm when you pull in. Spray helps. We also send recommendations for what sprays work best for us in the arrival instructions. We do not offer refunds for mosquitoes. We have never found them unmanageable, and the screen porch keeps them almost entirely away. We are east of Rollover Pass. Easiest to arrive through Winnie and south on 124. Unless you are coming from Galveston or southeast Houston it is probably shorter. The ferry is fun (dolphins and such) but the waits can be long. Also: Do not bring loose propane tanks or gasoline cans on the ferry, they will send you away.
