Great place to stay! It was super close to the state parks and a comfortable RV. The lake is only a short hike away, and provides a pretty good view.

Vibrant Turk’s Cap flowers bloom just outside the space, loved by local hummingbirds, they add a peaceful, nature-filled touch to your stay.

1 night at Casita El Dorado

Leah’s place is such a peaceful and welcoming spot! The land is spacious and beautifully maintained, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. I was greeted by her sweet and friendly dog, which was such a fun surprise. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a warm day, and there’s a cozy hammock tucked under the trees that’s great for relaxing with a book. I also loved the fire pit area—it’s a great setup for sitting under the stars. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor getaway.

2 nights at Colorado RiverBend Retreat #CRBR

We stayed in a mini trailer near the lake and had a great time overall. The lake view was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. We loved that we could fish, though we wish the fishing had been a bit better. One downside was that the stove didn’t come with gas—we had to make a last-minute trip to Walmart 20 minutes away at 8PM. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our last minute tent camping trip at River Forest! We came in after a big storm, so a few sites were a little muddy (expected), but we found a great spot that offered lots of shade but wasn’t too muddy. Took the dogs down to the river the next day and they had a blast. The owners are really nice and helpful. We will definitely be camping here more often!

First of all, thank you Bridget for your kindness & generosity. I would def recommend Riverbank site #2. Mother Nature was acting up the weekend of our trip. Due to unpredictable storms, the normal sandbar was underwater, and it was extra…“naturey”. When circumstances like this occur, it’s out of anyone’s control. You’ve just gotta lean in & make the best of it! Other than that, it was absolutely lovely! My husband and I, our 7yr old, my two stepdaughters, and our senior pup, all enjoyed ourselves. When we initially arrived, the weather was really nice. We put our tubes in the water & got our float on. The zephyrs dancing through the trees, the flow of the river, the picturesque landscape...Majestic! We brought our own canoe and had fun fishing and exploring. A couple of times we paddled hard upstream then let our paddling and the current propel us back downstream. Total shred points!!! lol The outdoor showers/bathroom were awesome! Thank you for providing such a thoughtful amenity. Just a note: The weather didn’t help this situation, but there were tons of ants! My two teenage stepdaughters were tripping about all the bugs, ants, and spiders! I’ll say this, if you’re not easy-going, & if you’re fearful of bugs, ants, etc, this may not be the campsite for you. I grew up camping in SFL. Lots of mud & critters. Organic & beautiful in its own way. I love escaping the city and unplugging. Hubby & I can’t wait to come back alone & try the river-rat shack ;) Thanks again <3

I loved staying here!, absolutely beautiful in the morning and a random rooster crowing a couple miles away from us every morning made it even better lol. Used the campfire to make s’mores, everything went smoothly. They have a cute shower, they also have toilets not far from camp at all. Super quiet I love that they have a no loud music rule, made the experience even more relaxing specially after a long week of work. Would and will come back again. :)

Weekend Trip to Lost Pines Private RV & Lake

Loved the privacy of the RV area and the woods were beautiful. Older trailer with a lot of love put into it, the window unit was a trouper and it was pretty comfortable once it got going. The area surrounding was very comfortable to walk around, the paths were very state-park-esque, and it was a really nice surprise to find a seating area in the woods. It was a bit of a bummer that it took all night for the fridge to get cold enough to cool our drinks, and that the lake was right in front of the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would love to stay again!

Had a great time tent camping, the people were responsive and quick if you needed something. We played in the river and floated a little bit. Really great all the way around!

Travis’s property and accommodations are beautifully done and well taken care of. We enjoyed walking down to the river, hanging out on the wine deck, and enjoying the quiet beauty that the area has to offer. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back soon!

Stayed the weekend in a small camper here. Site 9 has full hookups. It was a great location (very close to the state park, and not too far from Johnson City), and the grounds were very well kept. Ken was an accommodating and gracious host. Will stay again if back this way.

Great spot! We had it all to ourselves the whole weekend. It rained so the river was a bit high so we couldn’t really kayak without paddling against the current (which we did anyways!! Lol) great trip and time with family. Host was awesome and very accommodating. Clean facilities. Everything you need for a good reconnect with nature.

2 acres in the hill country with free ranging ducks and chickens. There are bee colonies scattered on the property as well. Open grassy areas as well as tree covered areas. This is a quiet neighborhood and wildlife is abundant. You may hear coyotes and a great horned owl at night. There is a honey bee themed gift shop on site that is regularly open Thu-Sat 10-6 that offers tastings and tours. There is a restroom and small sink area connected to store that is open 24 hrs. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. Adirondack chairs and a hammock area is just out back (lakeside). - The Grand Tesoro: Private hill country view across the properties ravine. Located closest to the bathhouse, very central on our property. Also near the common areas. A private chiminea fire area under a grove of trees is nearby. The price for Grand tents is based on double or triple occupancy. A fourth guest is welcome for an additional fee ($50/nt), which you’ll see at booking. The Mini Aztec: Located between the Grand Aztec and Grand Arrow tents, with a private view of the lake and hills, and a private chiminea area. For younger children (age 8+) who want to sleep in the mini tent, we recommend the Grand Arrow for the parents because the mini is within view of the Grand Arrow porch. Private, peaceful and secluded. Thirty nine foot RV with slide out walls. Queen bed and a couch. No other RVs next to you. Just forest. Hot shower, full kitchen, window a/c unit. On very hot afternoons to A/C unit struggles to keep the place cool. If it is 100 outside the A/C unit might only bring it down to 75 in the main area and warmer in the bedroom. At night and in the morning the A/C is strong enough. Learn more about this land: Lost Pines Private RV is located on a gravel dead-end road. We are in a pine forest with some oaks and have a two-acre lake on the property that is good for swimming. Bastrop and Buescher State Parks are nearby and easy to access through back roads. Downtown Bastrop and Downtown Smithville are both a ten-minute drive away.

Sit by the fire as you gaze up at the Milky Way. We have 2 goats, 13 chickens and a pig! They stay in their pens and we provide food so you can feed them - please do not give them any other food except what is provided. Bonus! Guests can enjoy fresh eggs daily, when available. Located-10 minutes from Canyon Lake -20 minutes from Wimberley, San Marcos and Blanco. Wynona’s is perfectly situated to some of the sweetest towns in Texas! The space We love camping so much we decided to make our own Glamping experience in our backyard! The rental includes your yurt, but you get to use the common space!! In total we have 4 bell tents. Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Other things to note Each of the four bell tents are equipped with an AC unit, beds, heater, pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, electrical outlets, twinkle lights, and a lantern. Light switch to main Edison lights are located on the side table near hot tub outlets.
