Beautiful property, great views in every direction. We caught fish all day long. It was just a great escape from the city life. About 10 minutes from Gainesville, in case you want to go out for dinner or run to Walmart for something.

I had a great time with my 3 young boys. Glenn was very accommodating and checked in on us without being at all intrusive. The site was easy to find and secluded. The kiddos were able to reel in a few small bluegill (even beginning of March) which was fun for them. Highly recommended!

The campsite and view was gorgeous in late winter. It was nice to have so much green grass for the dogs to roam around on and thankfully no other guests came to the other sites so we had plenty of space all to ourselves. One thing that I wish was more clear in the listing was how residential it is. The houses/farms are pretty far off, but you do hear lots of barking dogs, car noise, etc. It's not terrible, but not good if you're a light sleeper or are wanting to be a bit more remote. Overall however, it's a nice getaway that's an easy drive from DFW and the view of the pond from the hillside is very picturesque.

Tent camping with family and friends was very relaxing at Susan’s land. The dogs, our son and everyone else enjoyed the quick nice weather get away before Texas 2nd winter hit! We have it saved to our favorites!

Great place for a quick stop or maybe a longer stay. Less than a mile off the highway. All the essentials for an RV park; sites with post lights, propane, rv parts, full hook-ups, garbage disposal. There was a pool that looked to be well maintained for the summer months. So easy to find, nothing fancy. Helpful & responsive host

Super great! A calm , soothing and refreshing experience in the « outbacks » of Oklahoma. The owner of the place provided us with fast replies to our questions and requests and on top of that , unlike other campgrounds owners he gave us clear and precise instructions on how to get there. The site was extremely clean and had picnic tables plus fire pits along with a bunch of firewood next to his shed in the back of the property a couple feet next to the pond.

There is a shared water hydrant for the campsites. For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away. We are located next door to 555 Vineyard and the Vineyard Tasting room. Also, check out downtown Valley View with local restaurants including Blue Bonnet Cafe, York N Ale, Hess Meat Market, and Firelight Vineyard just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away. Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
