Thanksgiving weekend, our first Hipcamp stay. The site is as described and perfect for our visit. Not having sewer hookups is a non-issue if you manage water usage. There is a CEFCO gas station a few miles south on hwy 259 that has an rv dump station for a small fee. We did not meet the host but she was quick to respond to our emails. We had a wonderful time at Llamaland Ranch Judy was so welcoming and very responsive to our questions and requests. My daughter loved interacting with the Llamas and running around the big open spaces. We loved sitting by the fire and star gazing. We even caught a few shooting stars. The drive from Dallas was quick and easy. We will be camping at Llamaland Ranch again.

This place was awesome!! The land is well kept and waking up to llamas was absolutely magical! Judy was so sweet and met us super late at night to help us get settled! We had the best time.

Such a fun experience camping with the llamas! We had a great weekend here, and the charcuterie board was excellent and the perfect lunch for us on Saturday. The owners are super helpful and friendly, and the llamas make it so fun.

Jill and Anthony have a great place. Super clean campground. We loved that it's so dog friendly. The outdoor shower and close bathroom were super appreciated. The Nest felt very secluded and was exactly what we were looking for. The picnic table was used and enjoyed as well as the fire pit box.

Site A. We've added a picnic table (not shown). Can be for RV or tent camping as there is a clearing to the left at the end of the asphalt.

Weekend Trip to Llama Land Ranch

Thank you Judy and Al, me and my boyfriend loved spending 2 nights on the sanctuary lot. The trees provided the perfect amount of shade for the hot weekend. It was my first time seeing llamas and they were way bigger than I thought they would be, but they were gentle giants! One even gave me a kiss on the cheek when I wasn’t paying attention. There were cute kitties and puppies on the land as well. One small cat with orange splotches was so sweet and guarded our tent all night. We wanted to steal her so bad. There were lots of other campers there too but we were all very spread out, no noise from them at all.

Weekend Trip to Quiet East Texas Piney Wood Getaway

Great quiet little spot. Will definitely be back. I would warn that it is a tight fit for larger RVs. Mine is 27’ and I arrived at night so it was a little tricky getting in. I recommend entering the north entrance. The spot its self was spacious and the host was very nice.

Weekend Trip to Llama Land Ranch

We dry camped in our RV and loved Llamaland. It was a great place to relax for the weekend. The pond site is huge and surrounded by fields. There are nice wooden picnic tables, chairs and a big firepit under a huge oak tree. Sunset views over the pond were beautiful. There is an outhouse nearby for tent campers. The llamas were friendly and cute. It was fun to hang out with them. Some were a bit aggressive about the food but you can just push them away or hide the food. Harry, Judy’s dog, came and hung out with us for a while too. It rained so we had the entire pasture to ourselves. Almost all of the sites are under trees with nice set ups. Judy and her husband were great. We would highly recommend staying here if you love animals.

Llama land is a beautiful, spacious spot to camp. Feeding the llamas and having them wander among us was delightful! Judy the host was super friendly and helpful- she made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The bathroom facilities were nice too.
