This place is the ideal camping spot. When you think of camping, this is the kind of peaceful environment you imagine. I'm pretty sure that we see a unicorn every few days come out of the woods but, I can't be 100% sure.

We loved staying at Friends in RV Spaces. It was in the country, on a beautiful piece of property. The hosts, Sarah and Sam, were very friendly. They made sure we had all the needed information about staying on their property, and asked us if we had any questions about the area. We will definitely stay there again if we come to the Fort Worth area.

We stayed the weekend for a getaway from life and work. Such a calm and relaxing location. It was nice to lay in the hammock and watch the animals walk around. We enjoyed walks around the property with small trails to walk through. One of our best moments was sitting by the lake at night to star gaze, it was such a beautiful view of all the visible stars. Our 4 legged furry daughter really enjoyed laying on the top floor balcony of the dollhouse to enjoy the entire view. We had such an amazing weekend. Thank you Amy for being such an accommodating host. We will definitely 1000% be back!

The experience was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Amy was very accommodating and great with our children in our group. This camp has a wonderful pavilion with lots of seating and activities for the children also. We loved the animals, the quiet, and the area to walk and enjoy. In the description for this listing it says the campground is "a pastural oasis just a stones throw away fom urban convenience" and I found it to be just that. It's also a work in progress and I like what they're doing here. I'm a semi-retired van-lifer travelling wherever life takes me but DFW is my home base and it's great to find this place available for those times I need to be in town, this time being my granddaughter's upcoming Sweet 16 birthday. So if you need a relaxing break from the road, this is your place and Rod and Eddie will take care of you.

This is a great location for a safe place to stay! It is very conveniently located near the centre of Fort Worth with some really great scenery along the way. We met Sam - he’s a great guy, very friendly and very accommodating. We only stayed the one night in our month long trip across America, but loved it. If only we had sites like this back home in Australia! Do yourself a favour and pick this great little hidden gem.

Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Courteous canine friends are welcome. Our camping area is a graded grass and dirt area off of a gravel driveway with shade trees and a lake view. Enjoy a peaceful camping setting. There is a shared water hydrant for the campsites. For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away. We are located next door to 555 Vineyard and the Vineyard Tasting room. Also, check out downtown Valley View with local restaurants including Blue Bonnet Cafe, York N Ale, Hess Meat Market, and Firelight Vineyard just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away. Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
