Now A peaceful wildlife refuge and habitat preserve with artesian streams that run into Ellison Creek Reservoir Lake across the Road. Abundant with song birds, 9 acres of native trees and plants .We are habitat , lane of passage for the animals that call this place Home and stop over for migratory birds and water fowl .We have chickens ,Gardens and Goats as a self sustaining Homestead .I have games ,swings , things to climb, trails to explore or build and a cold clean creek to play in. All easily supervised within your campsite.With preapproval/ You can make bicycle trails, jumps or obstacles during your stay here. you may borrow my bicycles, my kayaks * or my outdoor games. You can feed the animals and pet the bunnies. Baby chicks to hold in season.I can provide you with things to chop up or things to dig up at your own risk.Upon request . I will take you on a nature tour and show you God‘s hidden things in season. Teach you how to cook on an open fire or just visit for a while just for the asking. You can rent my tent and camping gear.I generally have eggs ,garden vegetables and flowers for sale in season. Multiple items for rent and for sale at the camp store. I will cook you breakfast or provide morning coffee.*We have picnic kits available*.

Barefoot Gee’s is the hidden gem of the camping world. If you are like myself, you long for a full hookup camping spot all by yourself, nestled in the East Texas woods with nobody to share your perfect spot with. If so, then look no further. Linda is an awesome host and has a perfect spot for everyone to enjoy. I have found my spot and will be booking it as much as I can, so you better get there before I do.

Had a great time here! The area was spacious, camp fire and tire swing along with grill area in great locations. Host was super nice as well as her pup who my dog got along with and that's saying something because she likes her personal space. Her dog was a great watch dog of the area, showing my dog around the area and he spent time around my camp area which was nice. Great scenery and I would definitely stay here the next time I want to visit East Tx and go camping 😀

We had a great time. The site was nice with a big stone for ring and a soft bed if pine needles. The host, Linda, was very accommodating and responded quickly to communications and made the trip stress free.
We loved Porter the goat, Andy the big lovable dog and Molly the little friendly dog. Andy and Porter slept outside of our tent and it was adorable.
The location of pretty with some room to explore.
Highly recommend.

Quiet, woodsy, safe and serene! Andy, the owner’s German Shepherd, camped with me and is just the sweetest dog! Linda is a great host and helped resolve my battery pack issues by running power all the way down to my site so everything had power and full charge is restored to my battery pack and me! She has a beautiful spot with a fire pit all set up, plenty of chairs, 2 grills and an eating table and another small folding table too. The outhouse is charming! Great place-I’ll be back if I’m ever this way. Thanks Linda!

My family and I would absolutely recommend this place! The host was over-the-top accommodating and offered tons of activities for the kids. The campsites were well laid out with lots of trees, there was so much space for the kids to safely explore and for the dogs to roam. We did pay for the electricity option, and the ropes course for the kids. The outhouse was very clean.
