Avinger Station RV Park The History of the Station Established in 1876 as a Railroad Depot Avinger Station operated as such until the mid 20th century. After being put out to pasture, the depot was rescued from oblivion as a barn and brought back to Avinger in 1998. It was moved to a more prominent location near its original site in June of 2021 after pondering how the depot might serve the community once again. Desiring to preserve and improve our community’s heritage of service to travelers and trades, the depot is being restored and will serve as the RV Park office. AMENITIES •20/30/50 AMP Power, Water & Sewer Conveniently located next to all RV sites •Online Reservations & Check-in Browse our available pads online and reserve before you come. •Concrete pads, patios, and roads Easy in and out. Big rigs welcome. •Complimentary Wi-Fi 1 Gigabyte / 100Mb Fiber Internet Access •Laundry / Bathroom / Fitness Laundry & Bathroom are in service. Fitness equipment is partially in service. •Restaurant & Museum Under construction In time Avinger Station will serve coffee, a hot breakfast, and soup and sandwiches for lunch as well as host a small community museum. Our aim is to make your stay easy and enjoyable as you travel to or through East Texas. POLICIES RESERVATIONS, RATES AND PAYMENTS •Every guest and reservation is important. If you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 2 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation to recieve a full refund. If you cancel with less that 2 days notice, we can rebook your stay, or issue a partial refund. •Rates and policies are subject to change and may vary. a 7 day cancellation notice is required for some holidays, special events, and whole campground bookings. •Rental payments must be made in advance or upon arrival. ACCOMMODATIOS AND ACTIVITIES •Check-out time is 11:00am •Quite hours are from 10pm to 8am. •Speed limit is 5MPH •Only on RV and two other vehicles are allowed per site. they must be clean and good condition regardless of age. •Sites must be kept clean. A dumpster is available for bagged trash. •A sewer hose "donut" or "L" connector is required. •Campfires are allowed only in fire pits or grills that are raised and contain the fire. Breeo fire pits and grills are available for rent. •The code for use of the bridge (laundromat, bath, and exercise room) must not be given out to anyone of your party. •Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while outside your RV at all times. •Only 2 pets are allowed per RV and must not disturb other guests. Pets outside must be on leash, under control, and not left unattended. Pet owners are responsible to immediately picl up after their pets. Plastic bags and bins are available for waste. •Use of generations is prohibited, expect during a power storage. •Washing or changing oil of vehicles in the park is prohibited. •Smoking is prhohibited inside avinger station's depot (office, cafe, and museum) and bridge (laundromat, bath, and exercise room.) •Do unto othere as you would have them do unto you. WAIVER OF LIABILITY •To the extent permitted by law, user hereby indemnifies, releases and agrees to protect and hold harmless avinger station, its officers, owners, employees, and agents ('avinger station parties"), from and against all claims, causes of action, and/or liability arising out of or related to user's use of the RV site, campground's property, and/or any condition thereon, without limit and wihtout regard to the cause or causes thereof or the gross negligence of avinger station parties.

#10 Leesburg Siding

This was my fourth stay at avinger station. It's a well kept park. There are two levels the top level which are all pull through sites has no shade, but I've stayed in #4 three times. The bottom level has lots of shade and I stayed in #10 this time. It's probably the smallest site. If you stay Wed-Sun make sure you eat at the catfish place next door.

This place was absolutely wonderful. What a find for a one night stop/road trip. From the amazing ease of checking in, to our cute little Welcome packet then add a super clean bathroom, laundry facilities and even an exercise room?! Wow! And they even had a well stocked library that was organized!! I would say this great place is better suited to RVers. That's not to say it's not amazing for a 1 to 2 night stay for us tent people. Thank you to our host. You have a beautiful maintained property. And we appreciated it!

#5 Avinger Camp Site

David was very knowledgeable about his property & helped us find the perfect parking angle to enjoy site #5. The bathhouse & laundry rooms were just like being hosted at a personal residence- clean & well appointed. The layout of the sites allowed a feeling of privacy. David suggested a nice walk with our pups, up the hill to the old cemetery & a great view So glad we found this safe & convenient park.

This was my second stay at Avinger RV Park. I love the size of the park. I think there are only 14 sites on the property. There are plenty of pull through sites. It is very clean and the full time RVers keep their site clean. There is a weight room, bathroom with shower and FREE washers and dryers. They are renovating the station. I'm sure it will be beautiful once it's complete.

Absolutely the finest campground we've ever seen! The amenities and layout are exceptional! Laundry, sauna, level sites, it has it all and charm to boot. Our host was very helpful and we will be back!
