Hosts were very responsive. Amenities were nice. Washer & dryer on site were not working unfortunately. Sites are in the open under the hot sun without shade just an FYI.

We loved staying at Friends in RV Spaces. It was in the country, on a beautiful piece of property. The hosts, Sarah and Sam, were very friendly. They made sure we had all the needed information about staying on their property, and asked us if we had any questions about the area. We will definitely stay there again if we come to the Fort Worth area.

We stayed the weekend for a getaway from life and work. Such a calm and relaxing location. It was nice to lay in the hammock and watch the animals walk around. We enjoyed walks around the property with small trails to walk through. One of our best moments was sitting by the lake at night to star gaze, it was such a beautiful view of all the visible stars. Our 4 legged furry daughter really enjoyed laying on the top floor balcony of the dollhouse to enjoy the entire view. We had such an amazing weekend. Thank you Amy for being such an accommodating host. We will definitely 1000% be back!

The experience was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Amy was very accommodating and great with our children in our group. This camp has a wonderful pavilion with lots of seating and activities for the children also. We loved the animals, the quiet, and the area to walk and enjoy. This is a great location for a safe place to stay! It is very conveniently located near the centre of Fort Worth with some really great scenery along the way. We met Sam - he’s a great guy, very friendly and very accommodating. We only stayed the one night in our month long trip across America, but loved it. If only we had sites like this back home in Australia! Do yourself a favour and pick this great little hidden gem.

5 nights at Creekside Brazos Rock Camp & Kayak

I had a wonderful time RV camping on Sunshine's land and found it hard to leave the peace and beauty of her place. If I could I would give her 6 stars for being so gracious, responsive, and generously accommodating. For example, she allowed me to settle in the most scenic campsite next to the creek while I had reserved a less scenic one closer to the road. She gave me great river intel and additional time to enjoy kayaking on the Brazos. The campground and restroom are clean and well maintained. The experience was exceptional! The location is superb given you are out in the country yet close to the town of Mineral Wells (8 miles) and the Lake Mineral Wells State Park, both of which I enjoyed visiting! However, It is the peace of the place I relished most. Thank you again, Sunshine!

Very beautiful place! Host gave us code after signed waiver and was able to enjoy a peaceful stay by the creek. Very communicative host and place in amazing condition. Bathroom exactly as pictured. Please don’t make a mess here so we can a further enjoy this gorgeous area. Be kind and respectful.

This small RV campground had everything I could possibly want. There was a huge open field to play in and throw the ball for Lucie. The sunset was gorgeous. The host, Gary was kind and informative. The neighbors were friendly. There were even cows to feed and horses to watch. The eclectic architecture and attractive decor kept me entertained for two days.

Very understanding owners! My husband didn’t listen well when I read out the instructions once we got there and we ended up making deep ruts in their front yard! It was quiet, good water pressure and communication was excellent.

I booked fairly last minute and the accommodations were friendly with alternative site options available. The sites have electric, water and river access. Great dock for fishing. Fire pit for campfires and even extra wood if needed.

Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Guests have access to a fully equipped shop with every tool to build with. We have hosted over 400 DIYers here who have built amazing nomad adventure vehicles. There is quiet camping away from the activity at the shop but the focus is on building here and we allow generators and power tools 24/7 because often our guests work through the night during the hot summer months. Our mission is to make the transition from sticks and bricks to life on the open road as easy and painless as possible for all DIYers of every skill level. We are a DIY build location where people live on site and DIY build their vans, Skoolies, RV's, trailers, etc. We have bus and RV parking available and we have lots of boondocking space available for those who prefer primitive campsites either in a vehicle or tent camping.We are just now expanding out into general campsites and Hipcamp is our first effort at this. We are well establish, going on 3 years and we have drawn customers here from coast who have converted their vans and buses for great adventures.Our Hipcamp camping area is away from the busy shop and is very quiet and peaceful. No light pollution out here and star gazing at night is amazing. Our property is on the banks of the Brazos River just north of Possum Kingdom Lake and just south of Graham, TX. The fishing is usually excellent and we often see 20+ pound catfish and bass caught sitting on our riverbank. The channel is deep and wide and you may swim at your own risk and canoeing and kayaking are always an option. Trees are Live Oak, White Oak, Red Cedar, and Mesquite 20 to 30 ft tall, the ground is rocky and covered with flint and quartz and arrow heads are often found here as this was once reservation land. In the summer months we do have copperheads, rattlesnakes, scorpions, and tarantulas roaming around although we don't see them often. Guests should be aware of their surroundings at all times though. Winter time is when it's great to roam and explore as temps are mild and the critters are hibernating.Population here is sparse at approx 1 person per sq mile in our county and our place is very private and secure. Wildlife is abundant and there are several great short trails to hike on our property or adventure as far as you like in the river bottom which is public land. The town of Graham population 8k is 5 miles away and has all the daily required retail stores and fast food. And there are wonderful shops and local history to explore.

Deeply Rooted Campground

In November, we had over 10 inches of rain. It was a blessing for our grass and cover crops, however, the spill way at our campground was severely damaged. Therefore, the pictures of our beautiful pond do not portray the actual visual of what you will see. We are in the process of working with engineers to repair the spillway. You will still enjoy the beautiful sunsets, serene environment and we have three other ponds suitable for fishing. We offer two full camper hookups and several tent camping options. We have a permanent toilet and sink on-site. We are a full time working farm. We have beef cattle, sheep, horses, goats and chickens. For an additional cost, we offer farm tours and we are willing to cook for our guests. There are several wineries and breweries nearby. This is the perfect spot if you need to escape the chaos of life and enjoy some peace and quiet.
