There is also a native sweat lodge built that only requires blankets to cover it. This site is closest to the outhouse. If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking)   If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees. We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing. No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Daniel's Bluebonnet campsite is nicely situated near the flush toilet/shower and water spicket. The cows and donkey visited us frequently - loved it. Hiking through the back property was peaceful and beautiful. There was occasional road noise mixed with the coyote yips but not enough to matter. Great fire pit/grill! Daniel responding immediately when we needed anything. If you think the well water has an odd aroma, ask Daniel about the water in that area. We enjoyed conversing with him.

It was everything that was advertised. Mr Daniel is a great communicator, very quick with responses. He was Very helpful considering we got lost, Google maps fault, but was able to get us there. The host met us at the gate and made us feel very welcomed, even though it was a bit after midnight. When we returned from sightseeing, we had fresh firewood and the picnic table umbrella was up..VERY WELCOMING.

4 nights at Kamp Peace

I want to start off by saying this was a VERY last minute booking the day before Thanksgiving. It didn't matter. Jeannie was welcoming, helpful, and an absolute GEM of a host. She made sure everything was accommodated and went out of her way to ensure the stay was more than satisfactory. The property was quiet and peaceful, located very conveniently by Lake Stillhouse. I look forward to staying here again! THANK YOU Jeannie!!
