Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road. Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties. Communal: Bonfire area when there isn't a burn ban (bring your chair). Also small fire pit on patio. Jamie has such a beautiful piece of the country. The campsite area is cute and well away from her house and barn. The lake is a short walk out the gate by the campsite and easy to find walking along the mowed paths. I worked, hooked up our rooftop tent trailer, drove about 25 minutes and felt like we were hours away from home, slept amazing, woke up, packed up and went to work. The short break between work felt different here and I will be back because of it.

The directions to the sites were very easy, and even though Amy was away, we were able to easily get in contact with her and get settled in. We stayed at “The Point” site. The toilet was super clean and recently stocked, having been maintained well. The grounds themselves were similarly kept. On the site we saw river otters! That was fun. There are also lots of gar, herons, snakes and turtles to see in the river. We really loved that. The only downside I’d say is the neighbors dog’s that like to bark at everything. But they settle down quickly and didn’t bother us much. Overall it was a good night’s stay! We’d come here again.

We had a great time. The property is not far from Dallas and is definitely our favorite so far. It’s beautiful. I had the chance to catch 13 bass, all a good size, including two surprises that were close to 8 pounds. We named the biggest one Rocky. We will definitely be back. The property is beautiful, easy to access, and large enough to walk around and enjoy outdoor activities. 🎣🌿

Amy was very sweet. The animals were great. The river was very enjoyable. We went for a mid week break and enjoyed fishing in the river and basking in the sun. It is a little difficult to get into the river from the campsite but there’s a section near the pavilion that is much easier.

Wonderful land/spot. Wonderful host. They had quick and amazing communication. They met us at the gate and showed us to our spot. Super friendly people! The land was nice, secluded, and clean. The listing here says not bathrooms which is technically true but there is a porta potty that they take good care of. So that was a nice surprise. Close to a whattaburger incase you arrive late and are super hungry. (Its the only thing open super late) We got there at midnight and they were okay with that. I was super anxious about getting there so late but they were so kind and understanding. Amazing experience. Id definitely come back if we are going through Texas again.
