Our pond is charming and the focal point of the camping adventure. We have a paddle boat and an electric john boat to toodle around in. Want to go fishing? The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch. There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view. Large space with normal toilet. We stayed on the ranch side, which was closer to Makayla's house. There is also a river side which is more secluded. We utilized the fire pit, the bathroom, and some of the table space made available to us. The property was easy to find, and Makayla was reachable through phone calls. We did small daytrip into town, which was very close to the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend to others.

The land is absolutely beautiful! The campsites are huge & the port a potty was clean! It is close to the road & traffic was heard but it does get quieter later thru the night. I am already planning a second trip here. The town is close by & is small & cute with boutiques & antique shops. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had an absolute blast on the pasture mingle campsite. I will say though, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, you’ll probably want to go with the mother tree location. Since this campsite is next to the barn where horse rides begin, there were people coming in and out a lot during our stay. Didn’t bother us, and we preferred being right up next to the horses, with two sheep roaming and playing around for us to watch. I’d recommend this spot to families with kids who like animals, and the mother tree location for people who want more of the private river spot. Overall we were very pleased.

Craig was a fantastic host, and his assistant Matt was so kind and helpful! We really enjoyed the property, it was breathtaking with all the pine trees around! The fact that my dog was allowed to roam and explore really took the stress of keeping her leashed off me so I could finally relax as well….probably the best thing about the trip! The private bathroom and shower were also a plus! 10 out of 10! Thanks Craig and Matt!

My girlfriend and I had a magical weekend at the ranch. It was easy to find- close to Georgetown which has a nice market on Saturdays- yet remote enough to stargaze. We rode horses and played with the goats, ponies, and a litter of 8 7-week old puppies. At night the hosts brought us plenty of firewood for our spot near the horse pasture. It was a very fun and friendly experience all around.

So fun! We rented out the talking trees site. Perfect for my dog who hates a leash but also hates to listen 😆 he was able to be free in our campsite and the pond/island is a new favorite for my boys. There's lots to explore and the property is beautiful and peaceful. Todd is a great host, kind, communicative, helpful, but we still felt like we had our own space. Overall the site feels safe, I fully plan to go back and my boys (ages 4 and 7) said they wanna go back 100 times forever lol
