A Texas Hill Country ranch with uncrowded “primitive” campsites about 8 miles from Fredericksburg and about 12 miles from Enchanted Rock. There is no running water, no electricity and no WiFi at the campsite. There is a picnic table, some chairs, a fire ring with some firewood and a portable toilet. This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights and campfire provisions. Guests share a pasture with livestock and wildlife.
Weather in all its variations is part of camping. If you are not prepared to deal with whatever the weather may be, you should consider another option. We encourage guests to research this destination before booking, carefully review our cancellation policy, and consider buying travel insurance to protect against unexpected travel disruptions. Weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for a refund or change of reservation for this campsite.
Cellular service is limited here. AT&T provides a good signal in this area. HOWEVER **** SPRINT, VERIZON and T-MOBILE may have “VERY POOR” or “NONEXISTENT” cellular signals at this site.
We have neighbors, and although the place is relatively large, and we don't anticipate a problem, there is no guarantee that you will not be bothered by some kind of noise. Likewise, we don’t want our neighbors bothered by any noise coming from you. People live out in the country to enjoy separation of space. Please be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum. Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am.
The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area.
If you book this property you will be able to check yourself in at the property. The specific location and other check in details will be provided to you on the day of your scheduled arrival, and after housekeeping and campsite make-ready is complete.

This a "want to camp" campground and not a living solution. If you "need to camp" due to financial or other reasons, Camp EZ will likely not be a good fit for you. 6 nights maximum stay. Not suitable for very young children. Please include your child in your count. Campfires in designated area only with permission (burn ban sometimes). Bring firewood.
Community vibe 'round here; everyone is expected to be quiet and respectful of one another and clean up after themselves "leave no trace" style. Six night maximum stay.
Bring a tent and gear needed to be comfortable. 2 private hot outdoor showers, rustic kitchen and 2 charming flush restrooms included. Wood fired sauna available. Visitors are expected to clean up after themselves especially in the kitchen, showers, restroom and, of course, your campsite. Trash and recycle containers are around or, better yet, pack it out!
We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA !

Street parking. Camping is a very short walk from parking lot. We have carts to tote your gear if needed. Sorry, this campground is not set up to be able to park next to your site. We do not supply towels, toiletries, tents or bedding.

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and Etc. There is no running water, no electricity and no WiFi at the campsite. There is a picnic table, some chairs, a fire ring with some firewood and a portable toilet. This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights and campfire provisions. Guests share a pasture with livestock and wildlife.

We have neighbors, and although the place is relatively large, and we don't anticipate a problem, there is no guarantee that you will not be bothered by some kind of noise. Likewise, we don’t want our neighbors bothered by any noise coming from you. People live out in the country to enjoy separation of space. Please be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum. Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am.
The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area.

Community vibe 'round here; everyone is expected to be quiet and respectful of one another and clean up after themselves "leave no trace" style. Six night maximum stay.
Bring a tent and gear needed to be comfortable. 2 private hot outdoor showers, rustic kitchen and 2 charming flush restrooms included. Wood fired sauna available. Visitors are expected to clean up after themselves especially in the kitchen, showers, restroom and, of course, your campsite. Trash and recycle containers are around or, better yet, pack it out!
We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA !

Street parking. Camping is a very short walk from parking lot. We have carts to tote your gear if needed. Sorry, this campground is not set up to be able to park next to your site. We do not supply towels, toiletries, tents or bedding.

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. Bill and Kaz were super amazing hosts. So nice and I was able to talk with them for quite some time about their future plans for the property. They are incredibly welcoming to all campers but especially the overland community, sharing the philosophy of leaving thing’s better than you found it. Protecting nature so that it can be enjoyed for years and years. The campsites are nestled in the trees but provide some stunning views of the hills and the sunset. So quiet and peaceful. My campsite was equipped with a table, chairs, a fire ring and plenty of wood. One of my new favorite camping destinations. I highly recommend this spot. Give it a try, You won’t be sorry.

We loved the location, close enough to Fredericksburg but made us feel like we’re in the middle of nowhere camping, very peaceful and clean. Instructions to ranch were detailed and easy to follow. Host was super helpful and responsive.

Sheri and Johnnie are the sweetest couple! We loved our stay, felt super comfortable and safe! You do hear donkeys for an hour or so early in the morning and evening during their meal time (cutest donkeys ever btw), once they get fed it’s pretty quiet! This was our pups first camping trip and she was SO comfortable the entire time. We live in Austin so this is a perfect quick, easy getaway!

Absolutely loved our spot under the mother tree and the seclusion of the place. We took a sunset walk down to the creek and then up to the communal area for a stunning sunset over the farm and got to say hi to the horses. Pretty sure we were the only campers there for nye which was nice, great time had by all

This camp is honestly just so cool. If you are looking for a sanitized, predictable campground I would not recommend this camp but if youre looking for something unique and awesome I would 100% recommend it. It certainly was a different experience for me but everyone here is awesome to meet and talk to.

Nice spot at a private ranch, campsites are away from the road. Very peaceful. So the info may not be updated, it’s posted that sites only have water and power and need to dump by
Ranch septic tank. Well all rv sites have sewer connections.
Also the lake is dry no water,

The location was amazing. It’s within walking/running distance of Hamilton Pool. The campsite had everything we needed including water access immediately in the camp. The outdoor shower was an incredible experience. It had the feel of being out in the open wilderness but still somehow private. The owners are super cool and have laid this place out perfect. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We stay at this property often, so I decided to try the campsite on the "other" side of the creek. It was a scenic and peaceful spot. The trails around the ranch are always a great morning hike. Lots of deer and turkeys around. Thanks again for hosting!

This is such a gem inside the city. A little urban oasis. The layout is big enough that you feel like you have your own space, but you never have to walk for to get to the amenities. Its cozy, charming and feels very welcoming. I would come back to Austin just to stay here.

This was our second stay here, and we’re glad we came back. The first trip was about 50% rain, so we wanted to come back and fully enjoy Blasingame Camp.
William and the Gray family are super friendly, the property is beautiful and very private, and there’s plenty to keep adults/kids/pup entertained without leaving. Being close to Blanco Square is a big bonus, and the bathroom upgrade since our last visit was much appreciated.
Highly recommend — we’ll be back.
