Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees. Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or water for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites. There is a pond towards the back of the property. This is collected rain water and it just sits there, there are small fishes in there but we suggest no swimming as it can have bacteria. We usually walk around it with rain boots. By the pond you will be able to see lots of beautiful birds while relaxing in the various chairs provided as well as a swing. Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us to maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind. We do have neighbors so please be mindful. Cows also roam around the property but are separated by a fence but you do hear them once in a while and sometimes you can see them up close. These cows do not belong to us so please let them be. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind. Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service. *if you are bringing any pets keep in mind that if you wish to keep them off leash we are not responsible for any harm. Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome. No side by sides please. You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. My goal is growing all the livestock in an environment outside where they can live normal lives eating bugs and grass, enjoying the sun and rain and through holistic management creating more sustainable pastureland for the future. Our main rule is please enjoy observing the ranch life but do not harass the animals. We live in the country please do not be too loud or cross outside of our ranch boundaries. My neighbors have lived here or moved here for their own peace and solitude as well... be respectful of that and enjoy your stay in the country. The ranch is located in the Piney Woods of eastern Texas and consists of 95.26 acres mostly in open grazing land with dispersed pine and oak trees in small groupings and along the fence lines. The ranch has a nearly a 1/4-acre upper pond and an elongated narrower lake that is close to 1 and a 1/2-acre below the upper pond to the west. There is a fenced in just over 1/2 acre area just north of the upper pond. The ponds gain water from natural spring flow and rainwater. Cook Creek runs through the entrance area off of FM 2022 on the northwest side of the property. The creek is year-round but normally is only a few inches deep but does have a few deeper pools of water. The ranch has about 65+ acres of gentle rolling hills of open pasture. The pastures consist of bahia, maxio and angusta ryegrasses, with mostly coastal grasses with some red and white clover mixed with natives. The ranch also has a diverse group of wildlife including but not limited to coyotes, white tail deer, roadrunners, racoons, possums, wild pigs and hawks of different species. We have spotted a golden eagle on the ranch within the last few months. We have a couple juvenile bald eagles on the north-northwest side of the property. Our large great blue heron is back from his migration south. Several kingfishers are nesting near the large lake. Several other migratory birds and waterfowl also traverse the ranch during their travels north and south through the area. The night sky is amazing! If nothing else brings you here. You must come enjoy the view of the milky way and thousands of stars visible in our south-east Texas night sky. Photos of the night sky have been added to the listing... do not miss them! I really enjoy just leaning back in a zero-gravity chair and getting to view the sky when not looking through my 8in Meade Coma-Free Smith-Cassegrain telescope. I often have the scope setup and visitors are more than welcome to come view the wonders that our night sky has to offer on most clear nights. Bring a fishing pole to see if you have any luck catching a bream, sunfish, small mouth or largemouth bass. We do have turtles as well. The biggest and meanest is the alligator snapping turtles best to just cut the line than try to take your hook or lure back from these guys.

My kids had a blast. There's a little playground. Getting to see new baby goats was the best thing ever. Lots of area to explore. We got to see many different kinds of mushrooms in the woods.(just looked, didn't pick any). The cabin was nice. Had spots for everyone. We will be back in the spring for berry season!

Weekend Trip to B2 Ranch Lake Cabin

This place is a great quite family get away with lots to do. Very beautiful land and scenery. The kids had a blast fishing out of all the ponds while the cows were hanging out all around us! Cabin is nice, clean, and peaceful. Will definitely be staying again and highly recommend visiting!

Weekend Trip to GoldenHour L&P Land

Paula is so sweet and accommodating, very quick to return calls and messages. The site has its own style of charm and feels very private and secluded. The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. It seemed like background noise to me but kept others awake. Overall We had a great time. Thanks Paula!

Heath and his place were amazing! Heath communicated with us before our arrival so we would know exactly what to expect. He checked in on us during our stay, and even gave us a tour when he was feeding the animals. His ranch was peaceful and beautiful. We would definitely visit again!

Weekend Trip to GoldenHour L&P Land

Excellent camping spots offering privacy and convenience. We set up camp near the pond, which has lovely views and multiple great spots for tents. The toilet were near the camp sites, but far enough away to offer privacy. The dogs absolutely loved being off leash and running around the pond. There is a little bit of traffic noise, but overall a wonderful stay.

Such a great spot! Quiet, peaceful, and well cared for. The host was so kind and accommodating! They had firewood on site for us to buy and even brought it over yo out site. The kids loved the island and watching the ducks parade to the water.

So fun! We rented out the talking trees site. Perfect for my dog who hates a leash but also hates to listen 😆 he was able to be free in our campsite and the pond/island is a new favorite for my boys. There's lots to explore and the property is beautiful and peaceful. Todd is a great host, kind, communicative, helpful, but we still felt like we had our own space. Overall the site feels safe, I fully plan to go back and my boys (ages 4 and 7) said they wanna go back 100 times forever lol

Fenced 1/2 acre compound just north of upper pond. Fresh potable well water now available. One of the more permanent composting toilets (outhouses) located at this location. Outdoor shower avaialble. Liimited 20amp service available.

We loved camping on Heath's land! The views were amazing and the field was wide open to view the stars at night! Heath was most informative and welcoming. The cows graze in the field we camped on and came close as they were curious but nothing that wasn't expected. This is a very peaceful place and not far from the nearest city. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful place!

We enjoyed our time on Paula’s land! The Golden Hour was beautiful by the pond, with almost 180 degrees view of sunset. We chose to tent camp right by the pond. My boys got to fish and we saw quite a few critters - frogs, turtles, and a few snakes. You can hear the highway, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The main campsite was beautiful too, but we liked having close access to the pond. Our dog is use to off leash, so this was perfect for him. Paula’s neighbor has dogs, but our dog doesn’t wander away from us so we did not have any issues with that. My kids loved the hammock swing. I loved having a fire pit for grilling and Dutch oven cooking. The dock was perfect for stargazing at night. Paula was helpful and made us feel very welcome!

This is a lovely campsite and Melanie is very kind and attentive. My husband and I went on our first camping trip here and absolutely loved it. She greeted us with fresh eggs and a smile on her face :) would definitely come again and recommend to others.

5 nights at Glamm Camping

It was hard to leave this place. They have a way of just making you feel at home. She gave us some jam she made and honey from her bees. Then a dozen eggs. Just the sweetest person. When we left she texted us places we should visit. But the truth is we just wanted to stay there lol the land is peaceful. Our kids 1&3 enjoyed trampoline and swimming! Did i mention she's thw sweetest person! Husband is super laid back! WE WILL BE BACK.

The cabin is so cute! Much bigger on the inside than it looks. A great get away for friends and family. The dogs were super friendly and hung out with us while we looked at the stars!

We had a really good time. The directions are very clear and it was easy to find the place. Melanie greeted us upon arrival and checked on us quite regularly along with her husband. She brought us fresh eggs, honey, rosemary and onions that we cooked with during pur stay. The kids enjoyed the goats and dogs and all the other animals there. We tent camped alongside my parents RV and had plenty of space. The tank had fish too that was fun as well. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

I loved camping on the property, the spots are nice and secluded and there was a really nice deck to view the pond from. Around the fire pits there are string lights to help you see at night. Perfect site for a large group, we will be back!

Melanie was an amazing host from the jump. She met with us as soon as we pulled in and told us about all the amenities the campgrounds had. It was a beautiful land with a nice pond in the middle. We fished, star gazed, went on a nice walk, and made a nice fire. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and 2 children. Ages 8 & 3.

3 nights at Glamm Camping

Absolutely perfect! We lived it, my 2 year old nephew got to pick fresh eggs. And couldn't stop talking about the foats and pigs, and had his first ride on a pattle boat. So relaxing! Melanie is an amazing host, they really took care of us. We will defetely go back to enjoy this place again. Love it! ❤️
