Space #2 has a larger patio.  This retreat is the Perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet not too far away from essentials.  Hiking adventures nearby include University of the South Domain, Buggy Top, Walls Of Jerico and many more. 30 and 50 Amp pedestals at each site along with water and sewer hookups. Level sites. Due to health regulations, we only accept RVs with a pottie system as we do not offer bathroom facilities.

Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. You can see the camp sites from the main road, so there will be some road noise. Sites 1/2 are hard/large graveled, tent camping will be very challenging, heavy duty tent stakes are highly recommended with mats/padding. There is an electrical box at each end of the hard graveled parking areas (Sites 1 and 2) with 20- and 30-amp plugs, plus 110v. If the power is not working, please check the panel and turn on/reset the breakers, many of our guests turn them off when departing. If you are at Site #2 and the steps above do not work, please check/do the same at the Site #1 panel (it is the master power source). Water is NOT available on site. NOTE: Depending on the time of year (warmer months only) a water container with a limited amount of NON-POTABLE water is on site for your use. Please plan on filling your water reservoir(s) PRIOR to arriving. There is an outhouse for all guests, picnic tables and fire rings for Sites 1 and 2. The camping area is fairly close to SR-50 so please expect to hear some road noise, more so in the winter months. The entrance/driveway is on a small incline, if you are traveling in a light vehicle and a heavy camper, it's best to maintain a slow and steady speed to the camp site (for almost everyone, this is not an issue). If you are towing a camper, we recommend the total length of the vehicle and the trailer not exceeding 30ft, There is not a significant place to "turn around" at the sites and novice drivers (not used to backing out of tight spots with longer rigs) may find this very challenging. There is a double gate that is usually closed, and latched so it stays closed, it is not "locked". The site is self-serve (not manned), Site #1 is to the left, Site #2 is to the right, and Site #3 is down the path past the outhouse at the bottom of the path. It is recommended that campers set up early for Site 3 (still daylight) to get an idea of the layout. Parking for Site #3 is by the shed at the main entrance and power is not available at the site.

Very quiet, very dark, very easy to find and get to. I would recommend this site to anyone who would enjoy a spring fed creek and dark skies for stargazing.

Weekend Trip to Elk Head Overlook

Stayed here for a night. Nice view, easy access. only thing i will say is that the entrance is gated (great, i love that i felt safe) but if you have a big vehicle over 25/30 ft, like a truck and trailer, the section of driveway before the gate, is not long at all so you’ll have to leave your vehicle in the road (hazards on obviously)and open the gate before pulling into the drive. the gate opens towards the road.

I really enjoyed this site. The view is incredible from #1, but #2 camp spot is pretty good too. Power, water and a bathroom, so the basics... but the view is gorgeous!

Easy access from interstate. Nice level pull through. No issues with our 38' TT. Charming views. Exceptionally kind hosts. Road nearby with regular traffic, but quiet at night.

The view was very special and not something you can get everywhere! It was also nice because we had the place to ourselves so it felt very private! We weren’t bothered by the cars or noise. Only thing we didn’t like was the pit toilet, it was just gross. We’ve done camping with pit toilets before and been fine but this one was bad, we used our own setup which was much more pleasant for us!

1 night at Four Corners Resort and Marina

What a great campground. Full hook ups, a pool, boat rentals, laundry etc. We were very pleased with our stay here as we have been off grid camping and had accumulated lots of laundry due to rainy muddy conditions. Beautiful views of the lake as well. They also were able to move our reservation up a day as we were forced to flee bad weather where we were. Loved it!

VIEW.VIEW.VIEW! I'm quite picky when it comes to camping. I always go on a scavenger hunt for places with a view. I was sold with the pics before I booked. When i arrived and pulled up the driveway, the skies literally opened up! STUNNING. A friend and I car camped and we were the only ones there so the was an abundance of s pace( we reserved site #1 BTW) I will add, if your going camping with a large group, rent spots 1&2 and you will "have your cake and eat it too!" The entire area was clean and well maintained. The gate at the end of the driveway added a little more peace of mind when we shut it down for the night! Happy adventuring!

I enjoyed staying here. The view is really nice from RV Site 1. RV sites 1 and 2 are close together so be aware that you won't have a private spot if both sites are reserved. The instructions provided by the host are very clear, so pay attention to those. I had different neighbors both nights I was there but it was fine. Overall I enjoyed it and do recommend!

Lovely little camp with electricity, a beautiful day time view, and nice star gazing after dark. Good friendly communication from the host. There is some road noise which did not bother me however light sleepers may want some ear plugs for a good nights rest.

Weekend Trip to Caney Hollow Creek Retreat

Great camping site for our first time out in our camper! Beautiful, quiet spot. Creek was real close and the water was clear and very cold! Must be spring fed. Perfect for some private skinny dipping! Tons of cool rocks in the creek bed too if you're into that. Just bring your big spray! It rained quite a bit unfortunately, but that didn't damper our time that much. And Lindsey even reached out to make sure we were good with the flood watch. Really appreciated her checking up on us. The sites are pretty close together, so we were greatful no one else booked so we could enjoy our private time. Would definitely come back to this spot!

What a beautiful piece of property this is. The land, the trees, the creek, the natural springs. Just beautiful! Lindsey was an amazing host. He was very quick to respond to my messages. Just a very kind man. I highly recommend this as one of your overnight stays ahould you find yourself in this part of TN.

1 night at Seven Springs RV Campground

A little bit out in the country, but really nice place. The three RV sites are side by side but each has its own bench and firepit. Easy to find with hosts directions, but a bit challenging to navigate backing in after dark. In the morning we saw that we probably could have turned around in the field instead of backing in. Sorry it was just an overnight stay for us, but we did really enjoy the firefly show in the trees and hedges around our site.
