It over 900 acres of private forested land on Whitwell Mountain, which is part of the Cumberland Plateau in Southeast Tennessee. If you are a history buff, you may be interested in discovering previous caretakers from the late 1800's and early 1900's in nearby cemeteries. The graveled parking area measures 60' by 20' and offers a decent amount of privacy and a break from the city. This site is situated off to the side of the front yard in what we call "the triangle." Only short term stays please, no more than 60 consecutive days. Our single site offers water and electric hookups (50, 30, and 20 amp). We have a dump station on the property located just 200' from the site and we can provide a towable dump tank at no additional charge. Additionally, the site includes high-speed WiFi and Ethernet Internet access for your convenience. You'll have the entire front yard's approximately 3 acres to walk dogs or simply enjoy a stroll. At night, the low light pollution offers amazing views of the sky while deer can often be seen crossing the property. Door Dash and other food delivery services are available. Plus, we're just 15 minutes away from several points of interest in the area, including the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex, MTSU, Stones River National Battlefield, and the equestrian center. Security cameras are in use on this property with one that can see the RV site from about 100 yards away. Other cameras can see the front yard. None of them are focused on the RV site nor is it our intention to monitor the RV site.

There is river access directly behind Smooth Rapids Grill and a short walk from the campground. We sell fire wood. We have a climate controlled bathhouse on site with restrooms and hot showers. Tent sites 14,15,16,17, and 18 have regular 15 amp electrical hookups. The other tent sites are primitive. Travel Trailers and RVs will not fit in tent sites. Camper Vans or Small Pop Up Campers can use tent sites as long as the electrical consumption does not exceed 15 amps. All of RV sites have 30/50 amp electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station near the entrance to the campground for gray and black tanks. RV dump service is available for a fee if you would rather us handle that for you. From cabins to tepees and safari tents, plus campsites for your RV, trailer, or tent – if it’s camping and you want to try it, it’s here. The accommodations are ample, and we’re very strategic in locating the conveniences, close and easy to get to, whether you’re driving your home, pulling it or pitching it. All RV sites are pull-throughs with water, electric and sewer and 20/30/50-amp electric service options. 27 RV Sites with both 30 & 50 Amp Service, dump station and water. We are a riding stables located 2.5 miles outside the crown jewel of the Tennessee State Park System, Fall Creek Falls State Park. We offer a 2.5 mile guided trail ride, short-term boarding, and a petting zoo. There is a bathhouse on site which also houses a game room and laundry facilities. We will be updating our site pictures soon. Although short-term boarding is offered, we unfortunately are not able to allow personal horses on our trails.

Hidden Door Farm

Hidden Door Farm is a non-profit 501(c)(3) wellness farm about 40 minutes outside of downtown Nashville. Our rescue donkeys and Nigerian Dwarf Therapy Goats have had hundreds of hours of socialization, this allows for the best guest interaction. Our kids are guaranteed to make you smile! We offer a customized 35-45 minute wellness session with our goats and/or our rescue donkeys for $45 per guest. Please arrange at time of booking if possible. Upon request and if there is availability we will accept longer bookings. There are variety of seating options (including a hammock) on property and several fire pits (depending on wind) are available. We usually have firewood available for guest use as well. Additional Amenities Available: 50 Amp electric hookup for $10 fee on select sites 30 Amp electric hookup for $10 fee on select sites Water hookup when available for $10 fee on select sites We are across the street from the Cedars of Lebanon State Park, less than 9 miles from Downtown Lebanon, and a 40 min drive to Downtown Nashville. Located at 245 Durham St in McMinnville, the property covers 8 acres with frontage on the Barren Fork River. There is river access directly behind Smooth Rapids Grill and a short walk from the campground. We sell fire wood. We have a climate controlled bathhouse on site with restrooms and hot showers. Tent sites 14,15,16,17, and 18 have regular 15 amp electrical hookups. The other tent sites are primitive. Travel Trailers and RVs will not fit in tent sites. Camper Vans or Small Pop Up Campers can use tent sites as long as the electrical consumption does not exceed 15 amps. All of RV sites have 30/50 amp electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station near the entrance to the campground for gray and black tanks. RV dump service is available for a fee if you would rather us handle that for you. Minutes from Cumberland Caverns, Rock Island State Park, and ISHA. 50+ miles of Class 1 moving water in the county perfect for kayaking with shuttle service to access points available.
