Quarter Spring Farm’s history is murky and still being discovered. The house is over 100 years old. There are stone property walls that may predate the civil war. We believe this site was a Mississippian period settlement because of the large amount of artifacts we have found. Please note: there is no electricity at the dome. There will be a battery with a light and the option to charge your phone. There is no parking at the dome. The walk is uphill and takes about 5 minutes or so. This is still a tent, the dome is not insulated and is not 100% sealed. Bugs do get inside from time to time. I will also provide you with water for cleaning and at least a gallon to drink. Just let me know if you need more. If you can get here before it gets dark, that is the best. If you can’t, that’s ok, we’ll just be hiking in the dark. Luckily I know my way around pretty good.

My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . 1 night at Quarter Spring Farm

We had a great stay at the Thunder Dome! The wood stove kept the dome cozy on a chilly night and we were lucky enough to witness the northern lights while we were there! Heather is a great host and we loved meeting the goats, would stay again!

2 nights at Historic Log Cabin

A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. Keith was wonderful to chat with, a friendly and welcoming host.

Beautiful property with serene and quiet spots. The drive to our campsite was smooth, and easy to find with gravel the majority of the way. I didn’t use the shower facilities, but they looked nice.

1 night at Crossing Creeks Farm

We loved the glamping cabin and the views. It matches the description well. Great place to stargaze too we spotted some meteors as well! But it was super chilly and there was just one heater so that was little hard to sleep we assumed there would be more. But in summer I think it would have been the best. We didn't get to interact with hosts a lot but they were super responsive. Would definitely recommend but come geared up.

Weekend Trip to On The Rocks Campsite

The campsite was very nice, with great personal touches and everything we needed during our stay. There were strings of lights hung throughout the main camp area, which was great for getting around at night. The large tent had everything one might need, from cookware and utensils, blankets, seating, as well as a bed AND a fan for cooling off. The entire setting was very pretty and relaxing, with the tent on a deck perched over large rocks with thoughtful mulched pathways throughout. It was a very nice place and our hosts were very easy to get in contact with, making sure we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great campsite with extra perks.

The land is awesome. Weather was perfect, so we just slept outside the tent on the deck in a sleeping bag and hammock. We were there when their Halloween Haunted Woods was open, and that was amazing to experience!

What a wonderful respite for me and my three dogs. The goal was to come explore the Chattanooga area, do some hiking, and relax. . I did the farm tour also. Really a neat experience. I hope to come visit again someday.!

It was absolutely magical. My mom and my family of five with a 4, 3 and 2 year old had THE BEST time. We had plans to do things in the area and the grounds themselves were so amazing we never left once we parked. 10/10 in ALL ways. Dog friendly too.

This place was absolutely magically for outdoor people like me and my husband. The view was amazing from sunrise to sunsets. The host was super chill and awesome to be around. The goats were the best neighbors we ever had. ｡⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠｡ Its the perfect spot if you wanna do nothing but vibe with nature.

We found this place online and we are so glad we did! A short girls trip with daughters and their kids, this location made us feel like we were secluded, yet safe. Miss Judy had so many extra touches and a cozy atmosphere. We also got a visit from their peacocks in the morning! We would definitely stay again. Great site and great hosts!

I really liked the layout of the campsite area. The outhouse was really nice, and the little lights near the fire pit pavilion were a nice touch. The Perch itself was clean and well stocked with things such as camp stove, dishes, etc.

3 nights at Historic Log Cabin

This place is just magical. So much history and if you want to know the story, just ask Keith! Who, btw, is an incredible human who will make you feel comfortable and completely at home, but also away from it. Amenities, there is not a kitchen, but there is a mini fridge and a microwave. There aren’t any cooking implements, or dishes, but there is a propane grill, hibachi (charcoal), and HUGE firepit, and if you need some cookware, Keith can hook you up (not to blow up his spot). The bed is super comfortable, don’t try lighting a fire unless the flu in the fireplace is wide open(ask us how we know), the shower gets hot, two ac units keep it super comfortable, and there’s a spider we named “ole’ 4 legs” (she has 8 legs, we just called her that for short) that builds a web on the porch each evening that is magical to watch. Other than it being perfect, it’s even more perfect when it rains. The front porch is the perfect vantage point for the mist relaxing time you’ve EVER had listening to the rain. Ok, I’m going to stop before I give away too much of the secret and we can never book it again. That being said, it’s terrible and you’ll hate it. Stay away. 😜 jk it’s amazing. Thank you, Keith!
