Enjoy glamping in our optional 2017 19' retro style camper with a bathroom aJust 35 minutes west of Loveless Cafe' in Nashville and 20 minutes south of the Dickson exit at I40. The 48 acre campground has just 3 big tent sites for more seclusion and is almost all old forest with wide trails and huge old growth trees. There is about a 1/2 acre of field to park in between the road and the creek if you don't have an off road vehicle. The rest is woods.
Mother Nature has a lot to offer when you cross the creek into the first two campsites that are on the 30' creek. One big spring runs through the middle of the 2 sites with small cascading waterfalls. Both sites have string lights and 120V extension cords. These two sites are separated by the driveway and about 150' apart but a bridge connects the two if you have another couple that wants to join you these two spots are perfect for privacy and companionship. Expand the pictures to a full screen as you scroll so the description will show up at the bottom of the picture. Not all pictures are on the property but describe close places to visit as well.
FIREWOOD: Split wood is available upon request and sold in the area (if it's available at the time) or any fallen dead wood from the forest is free. $7.00 for a 20" bundle. Please let us know ahead of time or order it on the site.
SITE 1: The nicer of the two sites along the creek, has granite counters, a round fire pit with a fold down heavy cooking grate, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs. RENT A CAMPER WITH SITE 1 or BRING YOUR PERSONAL CAMPER: Our retro style 2017 option on the other side of the creek with stairs and stones to cross the creek. Sometimes the walking stones get washed out. 30 amp. 240 and 120 volt plugs. Click on additional fees for camper electrical hook up.
SITE 2: Also along side the 30' creek. There is a round steel fire pit surrounded with wrought iron chairs, a separate picnic table, granite countertop work space and a small grill. 2 fairly flat areas for tents. Set your chairs in the creek in front of your site. The clear cold water is a great place to relax and cool off or watch crawfish, minnows and salamanders and the occasional blue herron. 120V and string lights. Parking is a little tight unless you're in a Jeep of more off road vehicle that can park up the hill a bit.
SITE 3: "Still Hollow" is more private and located right in the middle valley of the property where a different spring fed creek runs down the wooded valley. There is no electricity but you can still enjoy the sound of small cascading waterfalls and a creek that runs along the side of the site for a relaxing sleep. There is a granite countertop, charcoal grill and a fire ring. A small round wrought iron table and 4 chairs are there for a place to eat lunch. The old moonshine barrels are still barely standing by the spring. This site is also accessed from the opposite side of the campground on Ben Fly Rd or Greer Rd for the serious off roaders. 4 wheel drive may be necessary but a Hyundai car entered through the creek in 2 wheel drive. It was dry though.
STAR GAZING for all 3 sites: There is a cleared area on top of a hill side for stargazing far from the city lights.
CHECK IN: Check in can be as early as like if the present campers have checked out. You can always hang out elsewhere on the property and start your day to explore and hike till they leave. Just let us know in advance. And you can stay all day the day of check out but you may have to pack up and park elsewhere if other campers need the spot. If not. Stay till dark.

VEHICLE TYPE AND PARKING: In order to drive up into the campsite, you may need a 4x4 vehicle but definitely need ground clearance. If you do not have a 4x4 vehicle or ground clearance, that is okay, park in the field and bring your water shoes for campsite 2. There are stairs and usually stepping stones to cross over to Site 1. Stepping stones for site 2 are coming soon.

TOUR THE AREA IN A CAN-AM: Check out 'Fisher's Off Road' to rent a really nice 4 seater CAN-AM machine. Drive around the local dirt roads for miles and learn the history of Moon Shine Alley, drive through many creeks and see some beautiful views. We took to tour with Fisher and it was a blast. This company supports the locals and cleans up the trash on the sides of the roads; a great service to the area.

Guests will sleep in a cozy loft with a comfortable full-size mattress (sleeps two). The daybed/sofa downstairs is just shy of a twin-size mattress and can sleep one person.
The kitchen offers a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, and convection toaster oven for preparing simple meals. I provide coffee, tea, and a few simple snacks. There is a French press for coffee and an electric kettle for boiling water.
The bathroom has a small shower and toilet. Towels and toiletries are provided, and if there’s anything you forgot to pack for your trip, don’t hesitate to ask!
Wi-Fi is available. The TV is set up for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc.
The outdoor space has a picnic table and a hammock for lounging. Guests are welcome to cook out on the gas grill and use the outdoor fire pit. S’mores, anyone?
I hope you enjoy your tiny house experience. It’s the perfect getaway for solo trips, friend trips, or a romantic weekend with your favorite person.
If you are traveling with a sports rack on your vehicle, you are welcome to take the green kayaks out for the day (as long as they are secured and safely strapped to your vehicle).

Sometimes I cook for people especially if it's a group. It'll usually be vegan chili con carne and skillet cornbread, Korean chajangmen, or some tasty variety of Asian seasoned vegetable soup with homemade bread. I am 90% ovo-lacto vegetarian except in cases of hunting guests offering their own catfish, bass, venison, boar or turkey, in which case I fire up the bbq and get busy, because hunters are essential for environmental preservation. The fire ring is available for traditional cast iron cooking.
Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome if they're trained, you clean up after them, keep them leashed around guests and kenneled at night. I have 2 small dogs and I can kennel them on request.

The cabin is furnished with antiques, a fluffy queen bed, and an oversized bunk above. Although the cabin is meant to be a retreat from modern electronics, it does have a cieling fan, light, TV, and outlets powered by solar panels. There is an outdoor sink and small tankless hot water shower head, gravity fed by a water tank on the hillside. You will also find an RV toilet behind the cabin under the awning.

The “outhouse” is eco-friendly—a composting toilet located on the front deck. On the back deck, you can relax to the sound of a trickling spring, or enjoy the heated outdoor shower (available March–November; rates are discounted 20% during the off-season). For indoor washing, a five-gallon glass pitcher with a bowl serves as a rustic sink.
Sleeping is in the loft, up a steep staircase ladder, with a queen bed and lush linens. While not ADA-accessible and not suited for those needing special assistance, the setup is perfect for adventurous, able-bodied guests seeking a unique stay.
There are two other homes on the property, both occupied, but everyone respects each other’s privacy. No one will come to the treehouse during your stay. The owners live onsite in the main house and are available if you need anything, but will otherwise give you complete space.
The path to the treehouse is lit at night, but it can get very dark on the road—so bring a flashlight just in case.

Enjoy glamping in our optional 2017 19' retro style camper with a bathroom aJust 35 minutes west of Loveless Cafe' in Nashville and 20 minutes south of the Dickson exit at I40. The 48 acre campground has just 3 big tent sites for more seclusion and is almost all old forest with wide trails and huge old growth trees. There is about a 1/2 acre of field to park in between the road and the creek if you don't have an off road vehicle. The rest is woods.
Mother Nature has a lot to offer when you cross the creek into the first two campsites that are on the 30' creek. One big spring runs through the middle of the 2 sites with small cascading waterfalls. Both sites have string lights and 120V extension cords. These two sites are separated by the driveway and about 150' apart but a bridge connects the two if you have another couple that wants to join you these two spots are perfect for privacy and companionship. Expand the pictures to a full screen as you scroll so the description will show up at the bottom of the picture. Not all pictures are on the property but describe close places to visit as well.
FIREWOOD: Split wood is available upon request and sold in the area (if it's available at the time) or any fallen dead wood from the forest is free. $7.00 for a 20" bundle. Please let us know ahead of time or order it on the site.
SITE 1: The nicer of the two sites along the creek, has granite counters, a round fire pit with a fold down heavy cooking grate, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs. RENT A CAMPER WITH SITE 1 or BRING YOUR PERSONAL CAMPER: Our retro style 2017 option on the other side of the creek with stairs and stones to cross the creek. Sometimes the walking stones get washed out. 30 amp. 240 and 120 volt plugs. Click on additional fees for camper electrical hook up.
SITE 2: Also along side the 30' creek. There is a round steel fire pit surrounded with wrought iron chairs, a separate picnic table, granite countertop work space and a small grill. 2 fairly flat areas for tents. Set your chairs in the creek in front of your site. The clear cold water is a great place to relax and cool off or watch crawfish, minnows and salamanders and the occasional blue herron. 120V and string lights. Parking is a little tight unless you're in a Jeep of more off road vehicle that can park up the hill a bit.
SITE 3: "Still Hollow" is more private and located right in the middle valley of the property where a different spring fed creek runs down the wooded valley. There is no electricity but you can still enjoy the sound of small cascading waterfalls and a creek that runs along the side of the site for a relaxing sleep. There is a granite countertop, charcoal grill and a fire ring. A small round wrought iron table and 4 chairs are there for a place to eat lunch. The old moonshine barrels are still barely standing by the spring. This site is also accessed from the opposite side of the campground on Ben Fly Rd or Greer Rd for the serious off roaders. 4 wheel drive may be necessary but a Hyundai car entered through the creek in 2 wheel drive. It was dry though.
STAR GAZING for all 3 sites: There is a cleared area on top of a hill side for stargazing far from the city lights.
CHECK IN: Check in can be as early as like if the present campers have checked out. You can always hang out elsewhere on the property and start your day to explore and hike till they leave. Just let us know in advance. And you can stay all day the day of check out but you may have to pack up and park elsewhere if other campers need the spot. If not. Stay till dark.

VEHICLE TYPE AND PARKING: In order to drive up into the campsite, you may need a 4x4 vehicle but definitely need ground clearance. If you do not have a 4x4 vehicle or ground clearance, that is okay, park in the field and bring your water shoes for campsite 2. There are stairs and usually stepping stones to cross over to Site 1. Stepping stones for site 2 are coming soon.

TOUR THE AREA IN A CAN-AM: Check out 'Fisher's Off Road' to rent a really nice 4 seater CAN-AM machine. Drive around the local dirt roads for miles and learn the history of Moon Shine Alley, drive through many creeks and see some beautiful views. We took to tour with Fisher and it was a blast. This company supports the locals and cleans up the trash on the sides of the roads; a great service to the area.

Guests will sleep in a cozy loft with a comfortable full-size mattress (sleeps two). The daybed/sofa downstairs is just shy of a twin-size mattress and can sleep one person.
The kitchen offers a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, and convection toaster oven for preparing simple meals. I provide coffee, tea, and a few simple snacks. There is a French press for coffee and an electric kettle for boiling water.
The bathroom has a small shower and toilet. Towels and toiletries are provided, and if there’s anything you forgot to pack for your trip, don’t hesitate to ask!
Wi-Fi is available. The TV is set up for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc.
The outdoor space has a picnic table and a hammock for lounging. Guests are welcome to cook out on the gas grill and use the outdoor fire pit. S’mores, anyone?
I hope you enjoy your tiny house experience. It’s the perfect getaway for solo trips, friend trips, or a romantic weekend with your favorite person.
If you are traveling with a sports rack on your vehicle, you are welcome to take the green kayaks out for the day (as long as they are secured and safely strapped to your vehicle).

Sometimes I cook for people especially if it's a group. It'll usually be vegan chili con carne and skillet cornbread, Korean chajangmen, or some tasty variety of Asian seasoned vegetable soup with homemade bread. I am 90% ovo-lacto vegetarian except in cases of hunting guests offering their own catfish, bass, venison, boar or turkey, in which case I fire up the bbq and get busy, because hunters are essential for environmental preservation. The fire ring is available for traditional cast iron cooking.
Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome if they're trained, you clean up after them, keep them leashed around guests and kenneled at night. I have 2 small dogs and I can kennel them on request.

There is an outdoor sink and small tankless hot water shower head, gravity fed by a water tank on the hillside. You will also find an RV toilet behind the cabin under the awning.

The “outhouse” is eco-friendly—a composting toilet located on the front deck. On the back deck, you can relax to the sound of a trickling spring, or enjoy the heated outdoor shower (available March–November; rates are discounted 20% during the off-season). For indoor washing, a five-gallon glass pitcher with a bowl serves as a rustic sink.
Sleeping is in the loft, up a steep staircase ladder, with a queen bed and lush linens. While not ADA-accessible and not suited for those needing special assistance, the setup is perfect for adventurous, able-bodied guests seeking a unique stay.
There are two other homes on the property, both occupied, but everyone respects each other’s privacy. No one will come to the treehouse during your stay. The owners live onsite in the main house and are available if you need anything, but will otherwise give you complete space.
The path to the treehouse is lit at night, but it can get very dark on the road—so bring a flashlight just in case.

Weekend Trip to Nine Pines Retreats
We loved our stay at Nine Pine's Retreat! This would be a great place to invite a group of friends/couples to tag along for a weekend getaway! We stayed on a very cold night, and the tent stayed pretty warm. Our favorite part was the hot tub; it was a dreamy atmosphere tucked in the woods with string lights overhead. We grilled our dinner, ate in the tent and enjoyed the campfire. My husband and I stayed one night and truly enjoyed this nice getaway!

This was a very fun stay! Super cozy! We were only stopping by for a quick rest however this would make a great base camp to explore, all the decor and enmities were very well thought out and curated for the artsy mind with great touches of hospitality. Honestly would stay again and seek this quiet spot out. We were last minute getting there and late/early to leave and the host Todd was very polite and responsive. Weekend Trip to Big East Fork Valley
We booked this site last minute and so glad we did. We enjoyed hearing the babbling brook while making a fire in the fire pit. Access to electricity and a restroom was huge and made the camping experience a bit more carefree not worrying if our backup power source would last. Although close to Franklin you forget where you are and feel you’re worlds away when you look up and see the stars shining so brightly. I would recommend and look forward to returning for longer weekend.

1 night at Nine Pines Retreats
This “stay” was the best of both worlds for our family. My wife and daughter got to enjoy tent camping with all of the luxuries of home —air conditioning, warm shower and bath, refrigerator! I got to enjoy being outdoors and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the beautiful stars and campfires at night. We will be back.

I had a great experience at Todd’s camper! The interior design inside was so cute and well thought out! It had everything you could need both inside and outside and was very inviting! The area is very peaceful and calming, especially sitting on the deck area with the trees and woods behind. The camper was able to sleep myself and my boyfriend as well as my teenage son and 2 of his friends! There were no issues! Would definitely recommend!

1 night at Baker Hollow Farm in Nashville
My boyfriend and I stayed at the beautiful cabin for 1 night. We arrived late at night but they still welcomed us, showed us how to get to the cabin and how everything works there (outside shower, lights, power etc.). The cabin was very hidden from everything, very quiet, it felt like a real nature retreat. The whole property itself was also absolutely stunning, they have the sweetest animals, honestly they were so andorable and friendly, and you guys were so nice! Thank you again for everything! Btw, the dog and that one lighter brown horse are so cuddly and happy for visitors 😍 we would’ve loved to stay longer but we were on a tight time schedule.

Absolutely amazing! Jimmys hospitality was unmatched! Such a great open area - fun swing for the kids and the low creek was perfect to walk through or relax with some fold out chairs with your feet in the river. The rv was great and has everything you need. Such a beautiful area - well kept and clear pathways and safe crossings from the rv to the fire pit! He’s got a grill plate right on the fire pit perfect for cooking and a nice outdoor cooking area and big table with chairs. We loved it & our kids had the best time. Jimmy and his property were the best! Can’t wait to come back!

3 nights at Tanglewood Campground & RV Resort
Absolutely loved our stay at Tanglewood! Camper were perfect and the place was nice, quiet and welcoming. The little general store just opened and was nice to have a place for small essentials without having to drive down the road. My husband and I both are already discussing when we can go back for another getaway!

1 night at Lionsgate Campground
It is a beautiful property with a lot to see. We weren't able to explore with Jimmy this trip, but would if we had the opportunity.
We slept to the sound of the water next to us flowing and the frogs croaking.. and not to be forgotten...fireflies!
Jimmy is very friendly, communicates well with you and will tend to anything you want or need.

I stayed here for my bachelorette trip and it was so much fun! Not only was Hazel such a fun and simple stay, but the property was awesome too. I especially loved the dogs and cat (+kittens) and the other fun surprises that came with our stay. Lauren and Jeremy are GREAT hosts. We felt right at home and we all said we wanted to come back and/or live on the homestead!

We stayed in the RV, it is very nice.
The location is a quiet location in the country.
Many birds and a lovely view.
The cement pad the RV is parked on allowed us the space to dance a few romantic dances.
We have privacy yet questions were answered and if I needed anything the response was excellent.

We enjoyed the clean and beautifully decorated bell tent. Perfectly nestled in the trees making a camping experience without the discomfort and work of traditional tent camping. It gave us the opportunity to disconnect from the hold of electronics and enjoy family time. In addition to the wonderful hosts and their family a highlight was the comfort of home with restroom facilities. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Weekend Trip to Gypsy Camp. 1043 Gallion rd.
I loved staying on Mar’s land. Everything about the description is accurate. The beautiful views, and overall peacefulness of the surroundings are so relaxing. The hot tub and stars at night, not to mention the creature comforts of a cozy bed and AC in the RV. I hope to be back and unwind again soon!
