We are located about 11 miles from exit 116 on interstate 40 in the beautiful farming community of Chesterfield, Tennessee where there's an abundance of wildlife including our own team of Khaki Campbell guard ducks and a piebald whitetail buck named Lucky who enjoys hanging out by the levee. Lake access is included with each site reservation. Life jackets required at all times for those with paddle please. Canoe rentals available upon request.
Camp sites 1-3, the boat ramp and main parking area are located at the main entrance and offer gravel roads and parking. Look for the LAL logo on the left gate post.
Camp site #4 the hiking trailhead and our back country campsites are located at the east entrance. Look for patriotic fence post near the road. If you end up traveling a long paved road that leads to a boat ramp with lots of parking, you zigged when you should have zagged. Turn around and lazy acres is across from where that road ends. Follow the access road along the tree line down to the water. The hiking trail is to the east across the footbridge. Look for white AT style blazes for trail markers. The blue blazes leading to each campsite.

Welcome to Point Pleasant Nature Preserve in Bath Springs, Tennessee!
Our 70-acre property is near the beautiful Tennessee River and is almost entirely rolling hills of timbered forest. A spring-fed creek, Mile Branch, also meanders through the length of the property. With food sources, water, and plenty of cover, there will surely be opportunities to see multitudes of wildlife. Wild nature hikes, splashing in the healing springs of Bath Springs, and woodland camping are some of the opportunities to enjoy your stay with us.
Decatur County is known as the Outdoor Capital of Tennessee. The Tennessee River is less than a mile away, the way the crow flies. We have a unique biodiversity in the West Tennessee Uplands with opportunities to explore geological formations, the Tennessee River Scenic Byway, the Tennessee Riverline, and much more. It is a sportsman’s paradise. Many of the outdoor activities center around the beautiful Tennessee River, which forms the eastern and southern borders of the county. The clean waters of the Tennessee provide plenty of opportunities, such as fishing, boating, swimming, and waterskiing. People around the state refer to Decatur County as “The Home of the Tennessee River.”
Raw woodland camping. Unplug from technology and forest bathe to ground and reset. Pets are welcome, and off-leash is allowable with voice control. Because this is raw woodlands, campers can expect to encounter wildlife, possibly including snakes and pests like ticks, so come prepared! Bushcrafting is allowed. All trash must be carried out. Please leave it better than you found it, and have respect for the flora and fauna because you are visiting their home. Please leave all of the rocks and vegetation on the property. Consuming wild-harvested foods to be consumed on-site is allowable.

The farm is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful alpacas and sweet wild chickens running around. The landscape is gorgeous with a very warm and welcoming feel. There's also wooded area to relax and explore along with an enchanted pond within it. Myles is an excellent host and you feel very welcomed. I have now camped there twice, and will certainly return :)

Sevylla was a great host and her property was perfect for my solo weekend trip to Tennessee. Sevylla met me on arrival, showed me around the property and was extremely nice and helpful. The campsite was very clean and well maintained and the platform for my tent made for a comfortable nights sleep. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Super quiet and close to Wolf/Ghost river kayaking and amenities in Jackson, Bolivar, and La Grange, TN. I highly recommend this campsite.

Lane and Dan's property is a beautiful place for a respite from your routine. Lane and Dan are great hosts and will make you feel at home. They have provided a sparkling clean pool and unique bathhouse (that even has a washing machine) and full hookups at the two shaded gravel RV sites.
Away from cable TV and WiFi, nature takes the stage at The Getaway. From your campsite you can watch the fish jumping in the pond, deer strolling across the grounds and thousands of butterflies fluttering about. At night, the dark is broken only by the moon and billions of stars above.
The only downside was that the brutal heatwave during our stay limited our outdoor activity. We will visit again.

Everything was amazing! Even in the hot weather in July when me and my girlfriend went was a GREAT experience. The owner is so welcoming and his farm of Alpacas is crazy! The baby “Luka” is the cutest ♥️ And OPPIE his dog is the most beautiful dog ive ever seen! 🐕 Theres tons of spots on his property to camp + he even gave us some of his own bee wax to help keep the fire lit + plenty of wood for only an extra 5 bucks! We only drove out about an hour to get there and it was totally worth it, 10/10, affordable, must go.

Wife and I needed a few days of complete downtime and we found that here at Lane and Dan’s little slice of heaven. The hosts were amazing from the start of the reservation till the minute we headed back to reality. The bathroom/showerhouse is an amazing addition to this beautiful property. The views are spectacular, the lake has some great fish, the pool was refreshing and we’ve already booked our next trip to Lane and Dan’s property. If you don’t book here you will never know what you are missing out on.

The farm and campsite were awesome. My son LOVED getting to see all the alpacas, chickens, and ducks. And the super friendly farm dog, Opie! We met one of the hosts, Bryan, upon arrival and he was really helpful and showed us around the farm once we got set up. We even got some fresh eggs and honey from him! The campsite was clean and as good as advertised. We can't wait to come back again!
