Uber or Lyft to Nashville available.
Check in & out times are flexible. Quiet hours after 10PM. If you're hanging out or arriving after 10PM.... keep it quiet for other guests.

Sometimes I cook for people especially if it's a group. It'll usually be vegan chili con carne and skillet cornbread, Korean chajangmen, or some tasty variety of Asian seasoned vegetable soup with homemade bread. I am 90% ovo-lacto vegetarian except in cases of hunting guests offering their own catfish, bass, venison, boar or turkey, in which case I fire up the bbq and get busy, because hunters are essential for environmental preservation. The fire ring is available for traditional cast iron cooking.
Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome if they're trained, you clean up after them, keep them leashed around guests and kenneled at night. I have 2 small dogs and I can kennel them on request.

Paris Landing State Park is an 841-acre park located on the western shore of the Tennessee River, which is dammed to form Kentucky Lake (160,000 acres). The park sits on the widest part of the lake making it the perfect location for all water sports such as fishing, boating, and waterskiing. The park also offers a beautiful and challenging par 72, 18-hole golf course, and hiking trails. The park pro shop provides golfing supplies, lessons, rental clubs, and carts.

We rolled in at night so locating the entrance wasn’t as straight forward as it would have been during the day, which ir was pretty clear to see the entrance during the day.
The entrance is STEEP.
Passed all that. It was a very secluded a lot. There were what we could see 4 different flat areas to stay and view of the city was beautiful.

Tent camping here was a breeze. It felt very secluded despite only being 15 minutes or so from Nashville. We did hear some faint traffic nearby but not a peep during the night hours. There were some people hunting way far off in the distant and we heard some rifles go off a few times during the day, but we didn't feel unsafe by any means during our stay.
The site was beautiful, fully surrounded by trees at the top of the hill--exactly what I was hoping for.
Speaking of hills, there is a pretty steep hill to get up, yes--but with 4WD it wasn't really an issue for me at all.
The sites are first come first serve and there was only my fiance and myself plus one other family that showed up several hours later. They were far enough away that we could barely see them.
There's potable water and a toilet a decent walk from the site, but we didn't use either so I can't speak to those.
Our interaction with the host was very minimal since it's self check-in and check out, but we didn't need anything other than the directions that were provided (which were very easy to follow).
Overall I'd highly recommend this site if you're looking for some seclusion but don't want to drive hours away from the convenience Nashville area.

We enjoyed the campsite. Close to Nashville where we live, so it’s a nice place for a quick weekend camp. Don’t really see how 8 different bookings could fit up there though without sharing a fire or being right next to each other. Will be back though!

This was a great spot to set up with my tent. Not actually hard to find, the red reflectors by the road helped a ton!! Beautiful land, spacious sights and got to eat breakfast with some deer. Will 100% be back and will direct my other camping friends straight here!

My wife and I stayed in a 17 foot teardrop. The drive up ( and then down) the gravel road was a bit challenging but we made it with no problem. The site was primitive but beautiful (see pic). Our camper has a toilet and that was handy as I did not see any usable facilities.

Just stopped in for the night on a long drive home. Nice secluded location on the top of a ridge, we had the place to ourselves so it was great.
If you're booking for the toilet and shower they could use a bit of work.

We got in just before dark and found the site to be exactly as described. Micheal’s description stating use Google Maps was accurate, we had both Apple and Google going and Google was correct! Only minor issue was after spilling my water jug. I couldn’t get the well pump to prime but I didn’t have time to call and ask for help. We enjoyed the night, rainfall and isolated camp to ourselves.

It was very relaxing up on top of the mountain! We brought everything in with us so we didn’t need much. All we heard all night was the sounds of cicadas and a large hoot owl. The road in was very steep but easily traversed with 4WD… we definitely recommend driving in and out with daylight so you can see the edges. My husband was unable to get the water to run but we weren’t too worried about it since we had a decent supply. Overall, we loved it!

I'm so glad I navigated to the site in daylight, because going up the steep drive in the night would have felt impossible. I followed the host's detailed directions and took my car SLOW and STEADY and made it up with no issues. The steep drop off on one side begs for caution going up or down, but once you're at the top, the level ground is comforting. The main campsite is spacious and in a beautiful clearing with plenty of room for a large tent and seating area. I explored the lower campsites, but did not set up there. There was some refuse in the woods, and it just did not feel as welcoming as the main site at the top of the clearing. As I was the only camper there that night, I was able to set up in my preferred site. Since sites are first come, first serve, I recommend arriving early if you're worried about sites being taken.
