For the extra adventurous - you may want to take a hike up "Thornbush Trail," which follows the ridge right up the middle of the property and has beautiful views of both meadows to either side. Or, for a more direct route, take a walk right up our dirt access road to the upper ridge, where you can peek through the treeline for beautiful elevated views eastward toward Columbia. Our treehouse (in progress) is located right at the top of the access road. Though the treehouse has not yet been completed, feel free to climb the 20' ladder up the inside of the hollowed out trunk and pop your head out the top! It sure makes a great photo! Come back to the barn area in the evening to lounge in the hammock, hang out around the picnic table, or cook dinner and roast some marshmallows over the wood burning fire pit with cooking grill attachment (fireside tools & 1 bundle of firewood provided). One filtered and cooled 5 gallon portable Igloo water cooler will also be provided and placed on the picnic table outside the barn. One rolling 96 gallon covered trash bin will be placed inside the barn (please bag your trash). "Luggable Loo" portable compost toilet is also available for use inside the barn. Tho cell & wifi are spotty here on the farm, we will provide one walkie talkie during your stay for direct communication with the main residence, should there be any issues or needs that arise. We ordered two ribeye dinners off the menu for our arrival night and it was delicious! Location was convenient for visiting with family members for Thanksgiving trip. Robert was a wonderful host we will plan to visit in the future. Thanks Robert!!

1 night at Wooded Farmland

We've stayed here several times, and love it - is a sprawling, ramshackle farm that is a great place to spend the night camping with our trailer with our dogs. There's one or two campsites with electric and water hookups (that you may or may not be able to find) The land is somewhat unimproved with lots of mud and ruts and junk and holes (be careful). There are cars and campers strewn about. The pigs are very friendly 😁 We saw a family of bobcats crossing Eatons Creek road out front. It's SO close to downtown and the development is encroaching closer and closer - we hope it will stay wild and undeveloped forever.

Patti was an amazing host! We showed up at night and she still showed us to our spot and gave us the best spot she had for rainy weather. The dogs were also so sweet and guarded us all night and gave us company. She also offered us eggs which is so sweet! We had a great time here :)

Great area to explore and thankful for a safe location to park the rv with hookups. Jenny and Tim made everything feel like home. They were closeby and helpful when needed however allowed for privacy . The dogs were able to explore the field and be a little feral in nature.

this place was perfect for our 25ft rv and our dogs! they enjoyed the wide open space and were very interested in the goats and chickens. the space was a little less private than i would prefer but it wasn’t an issue at all. robert was very nice and attentive, we loved this site and will definitely be back!

My partner and I made a last minute decision to go camping when our schedules changed. Patti was extremely friendly and communicative immediately when we made our reservation. I really enjoyed hearing from her. The campsite is not very far from Nashville and was a perfect getaway. The campsite has three guard dogs that are SUPER sweet. They were very playful with our 1 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd (who still thinks he’s, like, a 6 month old). We also felt very happy that these dogs were guarding us during the night. The road is somewhat close to the campsite but it didn’t have heavy traffic. This site was perfect for the three of us looking at a short, impromptu night away from home! The creek and birds were lovely to wake up to and we came home the next day cheerful and relaxed. We were at Site 2, but Site 3 also seemed great for a larger group.

A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. Keith was wonderful to chat with, a friendly and welcoming host.

I had a wonderful experience at Peekaboo Meadows & The Big Red Barn. I only needed a place to park for a couple of nights, but the setting was perfect; private, flat, solid ground to park on, fire ring, chairs, water, etc. all exactly as Matthew described, and communication with the host was prompt, detailed and easy. If I'm back in the area I will 100% camp here again.

Loved Lost Acres so much! Vinnie gave us a great tour of his favorite places on the property, and he was so, so accommodating and helpful. The property is super nice and private, but it's also very close to a Dollar General in case you forget something. Will definitely be keeping this site on our camping rotation!
