A beautiful setting amidst old pecan trees. Bob was very friendly and his wife's cookies were a welcome treat! Being able to visit with their two cute dogs was a bonus. We were taken by surprise by the train that passes through town, but it didn't run past midnight. Nice place to stop by on the edge of town.

What an incredible property with such lovely hosts! We absolutely loved our stay at Flying D and hope to return. It is beautifully manicured and accessible area, while still feeling natural and organic. We saw an Eagle, Red Shouldered Hawk, a sky of stars and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and cabana. It's a real treat to wake up and look outside your camper to see their handsome Kiger Mustangs in the field and the fish jumping in their ponds. 10/10 great stay with great amenities and we are grateful to our hosts for sharing their space with us.

If you are looking for a unique experience staying at a farm, here you go! Horse stable was probably 20 feet from the camp spot. I was just looking for a quiet spot for the evening with shore power, but there are also a lot of activities to do in the area.
The camp site was nice and level. I was in a class B with low ground clearance, but didn't have any issues.
Hosts were friendly. Allowed me to "help" feed the horses, even though I just slowed him down. I'd definitely stay there again, next time I'm in the area.

Pecan Grove, Bob & Carla made it such a great experience. He was communicative and flexible...we arrived on short notice. The site was wonderful with plenty of shade. Their dogs Freyda & Winnie were sweet dogs sniffing us through their fence.
