Our location is phenomenal we are an hour from Knoxville and Asheville and just about 1/4 mile off I-40. Right at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and 35 minutes from Gatlinburg about 40 minutes to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), also about 45 minutes to Sevierville and one of my favorite Tanger Outlets!! The beautiful Smoky Mountains the National Park is filled with hiking trails and horse stables and trails. Some of the best white water rafting is less then 5 miles up the road along with zip lining and a lil taste of moonshine here and there.
This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not too needy. Hurricane Helene brought unforecasted changes in the land but the tranquility of the River remains. We have worked to restore as much as we could. As for us it’s still our happy place in the Smoky Mountains!

I dont know where to start on how wonderful my trip was. I arrived and Mark helped me set up my tent (I was there alone with my three dogs) and also helped me set up a run line for them. Dogs are allowed off leash so I took advantage of that too. There is endless space to explore and its quiet and private and beautiful. There is endless miles of creek to explore and one spot is great for swimming (dogs and people). The water is crystal clear. The views from the field at sunrise and sunset are breathtaking, and Mark and his wife go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. They even gave me five more gallons of drinking water. The bathroom is also super clean too. I spent an entire day sitting by that swimming hole with my dogs alternating between drawing, reading, and swimming with the dogs. For almost a week I felt my stress melt away and didnt have an ounce of anxiety and was so happy and relaxed. I will 100% be back here again and again.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Long Creek Haven. We've stayed at many campsites and this one stands out by far. So peaceful!! The creek is beautiful. My favorite part was to relax and watch the pretty butterflies flutter and coast over the glistening creek waters. And the hospitality is top notch! 👍

There was a nice deck with table & chairs and a fire table. We had no problem backing our 24 ft RV into the space with room to spare. Once in place site has a flat space so leveling was no problem. This was our first adventure in our new to us RV and we enjoyed it very much.

This was a perfect campsite, especially for hikers hiking the sand cave/white rock trail. John and his wife have outdone themselves in everyway. The directions were clear and easy to find. The site is clean and well maintained. The fire pit is perfect as well as the picnic table. The bath house is extremely well done, well maintained and very clean. Vey helpful after a long hot hike! We also loved the mountain views and falling asleep to the sounds of the nearby creek. I highly recommend this site and wouldn't have changed a thing

Know what you are getting into - this is not a small or secluded campground. It is a large RV park with mostly permanent residents. The sites are small and packed in tightly. There is not an in-ground fire pit - just an above-grade fire bowl (it does accommodate grilling however) - and there is some road noise from the nearby parkway. If you are ok with those conditions then it is otherwise a good RV park with very clean bathhouse and the Owner is very accommodating. This is a great option for an RV stay on a tight budget. For myself I will likely pay more to find a more secluded/traditional campground on my next trip to the Smokies.
