We were on site 10 and it’s leveled. We stayed here on their last weekend of the season. Pine Haven is near Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. It’s on the outside of town but near pretty much everything. If we cross this way again, we definitely would come back here.

Weekend Trip to Naked Acres WY
Our stay at Melissa’s Hipcamp site was incredible! The cabins were so nice and cozy, and the outdoor kitchen and shower were great. The property is beautiful and we were so happy we got to stay there on our road trip. I only wish we could have been there for longer!! We will definitely be coming back!

This is a big campground near the roadway. I think its probaby a better travel trailer place than a tent camping spot. Staff was friendly and the tenting sites were level. I stayed towards the back of the property to help distance myself from the road sounds. It helped, ear plugs would be my suggestion.
Lots of cabins to choose from etc.

The campground host was waiting for us upon our arrival. She was very friendly and helpful. After showing us our site and going over the campground policies she wished us a wonderful stay. The campground was very quiet and peaceful.

Well cared for campground with a cozy feel. Garret, our host, was very accommodating and communicative. There is a neat little rock outcropping hill that stands behind the resort which is a great spot for a hike with a view. Nice facilities. Would recommend and stay again!

Great base camp for exploring Devil’s Tower! We stayed overnight and explored the tower the following day. We stayed up top where there was electrical available. We were in a big field which our dogs loved. The tent sites down below looked lovely. Nice trees all around. We were very happy to arrive, as it was late & we were exhausted! Thank you, Victoria!

The ambiance Horse Creek Resort presents is unlike any other campground in the Hill City area of the Black Hills. The niche fire pit and hammock's are cozy. Horses in the foreground create a serene experience. We were nestled amongst friendly seasonal residents with lots of local knowledge to help us get the full South Dakota experience. Joey, the host, is a salt of the earth kind of guy. If you love horses he’s your guide. Garret, Joey and Matt excel at hospitality!

RV sites along river are fabulous! Bathroom/showers/laundry (need quarters for laundry) fantastic! Host Garret and team were exceptionally helpful and working to make the Horse Creek Hipcamp clean, friendly, and fun. Proximity to Sheridan Lake for recreation and hiking, biking, and dog walking wonderful.

Camp Barlow was perfect! Nice area with plenty of space at each camp spot. Not your ordinary porta potty! Stocked with TP and paper towels and water was a nice surprise. Several deer came around, we heard turkeys in the area and in the early morning hour we were serenaded by a what I assume were coyotes. Felt safe and the view was beautiful.

We stayed one night at Black Hills Campground and it was exactly what we needed. My husband and I were the only guests, which made it incredibly quiet and peaceful. The facilities were well-kept, with hot showers and clean toilets available. It was a wonderfully restful stop and we left feeling refreshed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm, comfortable place to stay.

Directions were very easy to follow and set up of campsites was logical and well spaced apart. We were the only ones there that night. Stayed at site 4. The toilet was a portable unit. Very clean. We got surprised that the water was turned off for the season but our host brought us water from his place which was plentiful. We recommend!
