We were on site 10 and it’s leveled. We stayed here on their last weekend of the season. Pine Haven is near Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. It’s on the outside of town but near pretty much everything. If we cross this way again, we definitely would come back here.

It is a quiet place to camp with a nice view. The owner is pleasant to talk with. If you blink you miss the drive which is kind of steep. Someday he will have the septic completed and it will be full hookup at some of his rv sites. Pleasantly located on the side of Sundance.

Just off I-90 in Sundance, Wyoming. 30 minutes from Devil’s Tower and close to Rapid City. Nestled back in the hills, with electricity, but no water or toilet. However, this wasn’t a problem since we had our own. We received good directions and had no trouble finding the place. There is a nice, long driveway to walk with no traffic. We never met the host, but had a nice stay.

Host Garret and team were exceptionally helpful and working to make the Horse Creek Hipcamp clean, friendly, and fun. We loved camping here with our little RV. It was close enough to the cities to grab a bite to eat, but remote enough to enjoy the quiet. The campground was clean and the full RV hookups were very nice to have for our 5 night stay. My kids enjoyed being close to the creek and looking up at the night sky with a fire was a great way to end our nights.

I was actually thinking I should speak to him about putting gravel there, but they already beat me to it and gravel it nicely and gave us a better picnic area. Very prompt service.
