Incredible place to stay at. It's very apparent how much love Tammy puts into the space. 10/10 would recommend. Showers and bathrooms were spotless. Even though we didn't use them, the microwave and ice in the kitchen could be super nice to have for other campers.

I loved Tammy’s hospitality. Bathrooms/showers were BEAUTIFUL, as well as the convenience of free laundry. Our site was great, plenty of privacy and a great location overall. All of the other campers were great and super friendly as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something more comfortable when on the road.

My wife and I loved camping at Bear Den Cabins and Camp! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was great. Tammy was great host and very welcoming. The campground was clean and the bathrooms were spotless as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

The cabins are great and they even had coffee and a coffee pot ready for me! Bathrooms and showers were very clean and the campground host was present and helpful.

Tammy provided the most wonderful services. From clean bathrooms and rooms (tents), to yard games, a communal kitchen area, and more! The property is some of the most beautiful land we’ve had the pleasure of staying on, and Tammy made sure we were always comfortable. We will be recommending to friends and staying again. We got engaged on this trip, and their hospitality made our stay that much more special.

Weekend Trip to Bear Den Cabins & Camp

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Tammy and Tim have a lovely property and I’m so glad that they’ve decided to share it with the world. The drive to the site is a bustling little farm area (watch out for the moos) and is beautiful. The site is nicely located near many hiking trails, jeep trails, and great food. The bathrooms are incredibly clean and stocked with things often forgotten. The wagon to haul things in and out of the site was also a bonus. Tammy and Tim definitely have a knack for hospitality and they are really what make this gem shine.

This property is amazing! Tammy gives a personal tour of the amenities and all they offer, and makes sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay, The bathroom with multiple showers and sinks, utility room with microwave and washer, and the covered deck with a grill were above and beyond what we expected. The kids had a great time with the yard games and seeing the horses too.

A nice spot to relax for the day. Clean showers and bathrooms, and the people running the campground were quick to reply to messages and friendly in person.

Although I am new to Hipcamp I can say without a doubt that what Tammy has here is special. She greeted us as soon as we got there and even introduced us to other campers there as well. It was a small gesture, but still very nice. The amenities are fabulous and the bathrooms were awesome! We will definitely be back when we have more time to stay!

We loved staying with Tammy and Tim. They provide lots of amenities, the place was clean and all the campers were friendly. Fire pits were great as it was rainy and cold while we were there. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Pristine and comforting are not words usually associated with camping, but if you stay here, that's what you'll find - a clean, comfy spot to get away. Tammy cares for her land and the people who stay there. This is where you want to be! GO!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! It is in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area. The bathrooms were kept extremely clean. The property itself is so beautiful and peaceful. Everything exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend!

We were so impressed with this property. Tammie is an amazing host, and thought of everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were SO CLEAN! We plan to be return campers here, it's an ideal location for visiting the Black Hills and Custer State park. So much to do and see in just a short drive.

Tammy is an incredible host - a warm and lovely person. She's created a community that she cares a lot about and it shows in every detail. As a backpacker herself, she knows what a private campsite like this needs. She's got two great covered shelters, a super upscale shower/bathroom area, access to a washer dryer, spigots with fresh potable water, and each tent/cabin has it's own fire bowl that you can cozy up to. She met us to give us a tour and answer any questions even though we rolled up much later than we had meant to. She also told us about the other guests and encouraged us to introduce ourselves - which was lovely. We were super well-located for Custer State Park and Badlands.

If this site does not win “hip camp of the year”, I will be shocked! If you ever need a place to stay to venture into Custer State Park or the Black Hills in South Dakota stay here! I can’t say enough about what a wonderful place this is. It is a quality site, clean, has everything you need, And the owners could not be friendlier. I’ve been to nearly 10 hip camp sites now and this is by far the best. It is a nice drive to and from the site.

MY HUSBAND AND OUR DOGS ARE TRAVELING CROSS COUNTRY AND COULDN'T RESIST STAYING AT THIS AMAZING CAMPSITE AFTER VISITING BADLANDS. THIS CAMPSITE AND PROPERTY IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND IMMACULATE AND TAMMY WAS BEYOND FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING! WE WERE SO HAPPY WE STAYED HERE AND WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK AGAIN SOMEDAY!
