FREE FIREWOOD FOR LIMITED TIME: I have more split oak firewood than I know what to do with. While it lasts, campers can take as much as they need for free. The wood is piled at the site. Our homestead is home to our family, chickens, and a livestock guardian dog. We also have a small orchard and a garden. Most of our 12+ acres are wooded and our property backs up to thousands of acres of public forest land owned by Clemson University. A trail connects our backyard to the main network of hiking/mountain biking trails in Clemson Forest. For those familiar with the forest, our property is in the vicinity of Wildcat Technical, Wounded Road, and Chainbreaker trails. As private and wooded as our property is, we are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Clemson and less than 10 minutes from the small towns of Central and Six Mile. Lakes Hartwell and Keowee are also short drives. We currently offer a single campsite, which can accommodate several tents or a camper van. Our campsite features a composting toilet outhouse, and water is available from spigots at our house. Though fairly close to our house, the campsite has a very private feel due to being completely surrounded by a hardwood forest.

Beautiful location with a view of Table Rock located in the Historic Oolenoy Valley. Our property is located in Northern Pickens Co. of South Carolina. Plenty of trails, boating, biking in the area or just sit under your awning and enjoy the wildlife. Important please read! There is not evening shade in July and August, However, there are shady spots very close to the camp site that you can enjoy. Where your camper sits the Sun goes down at the front of the camper. It is typically not an issue until mid-July and August. If you need additional details, please contact me. There are two homes near the camp site. The one behind the site is our home. Just me and my wife, currently no pets. The other home is a small white farmhouse that I currently rent to close friends. Chris and his wife and two well behaved kids. The kind of neighbors' people dream of! In five years of renting this site I have only had one couple that felt uncomfortable with the homes on our driveway. Beautiful campsite in a beautiful setting! The campsite is perfectly flat and the utilities and fire pit are well thought out and convenient. Great view of Table Rock is an added bonus. Steven was a great host and super responsive. We’re looking forward to a return trip; sooner than later.

This place is as peaceful as it gets. Tons of privacy between sites and surrounded by mountains, a creek, and an old homestead feel. Melissa came by and was very kind and hospitable. I will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Loved this quiet peaceful place right on the creek. Loved the hike but ending needs to be marked better. Rooster definitely lets you know when it's morning time! Great place to camp!

What a peaceful little Valley tucked into the North Carolina mountains, and nestled up against Coweta Creek! Although there are four campsites available, our family occupied two and the rest remained unoccupied, making it very peaceful indeed! Adam and Melissa are very gracious hosts, making our stay even more pleasant. As a bonus, they gifted us with two dozen farm fresh eggs from their chickens! We would highly recommend this site as a great getaway!

It’s hard to understate how idyllic this site is. The host has made a very accommodating space that really makes you feel like you’re lucky to have found it. The view is perfect, as was everything else. A note about the driveway in. As everyone else has stated in the reviews, 4x4 is not optional, especially if you’re pulling a trailer. There’s two switchbacks that if you’re not careful you could get in a sticky situation. I drive a f350 with a crew cab and 8ft bed and haul a 15ft trailer (21ft actual with tongue) I don’t know how anything any longer would make it so heed the warnings.

Nice area with beautiful surroundings. Note that the power and water are quite a way from the flat parking area and you will need a longer power cord. Hosts were personable and accommodating.

This house was my grand mothers home place. The house is vacant now we use it for storage.

This is a beautiful spot! It was quiet and there was plenty of room to let the dogs run and play and walk. There is a Dollar General just down the road so if you forget something you're covered.

This campsite is amazing! The views, the privacy, the hot tub were perfect! The driveway up to it is a little intimidating but my husband made it fine with a 1500 truck and our 17’ R Pod. Just like the listing says, 4wd is a must, but so worth it when you make it to the top! Such a nice place that Lee is sharing with others!
