Our family restaurant is a local favorite and offers fried, fresh-caught catfish. We are open for three meals most days. You can have a hot breakfast starting at 6:00 am and be on the water or in the woods at sunrise. We will even cook your catch!
If you don’t feel like hunting or fishing, Bells Marina has play spaces for the kids and relaxing spaces for adults. Join us for movie nights or just unwind at the community campfire. Golfing is just minutes away!

We are located on 11 acres. Wooded areas, hiking trails on-site. Perfect place to watch for deer and other animals including our 8 on-leash dogs! It is a train lover's dream because we are close to the tracks and enjoy watching the train come and go so much so that the conductor toots and waves to us!! The Santee State Park has many water activities, picnic areas, and hiking trails. There are several golf courses nearby, and a local restaurant/bar within walking distance which often offers trivia, karaoke, pool tables, and live music. Our 400 acre family cow and pine tree farm most of which was purchased 60 years ago by my father and mother. My two siblings and me were raised here and later bought joining land that now makes up the 400 acres. We all still live on the farm with our families 1.4 mile down a dirt and gravel road. Stayed one night. just needed a safe place to sleep. Lots of privacy and multiple places to setup. I got in late around 10:30 but was setup and in my sleeping bag by 11:30 pm and slept straight through to 6 am.
Would book again. Janie stayed in contact with me as I was traveling and made sure I was set for the night before they turned in.

Dennis and Melissa were great hosts. They made sure we were welcomed and went above and beyond to give extra information about the area and history of the farm property. It was SUPER QUIET- which we were really looking for. Star views through the longleaf pines with whip-poor-wills calling in the distance was idyllic. The bathroom and shower (did not get a chance to use) were bonus amenities to our usual primitive camping. A great getaway! Thank you for offering these sites on hipcamp!

I absolutely had a wonderful time camping at Debra’s place. She was so kind and welcoming. You really don’t meet people that nice anymore. I am bikepacking the Palmetto Trail and her place was the perfect stop along my route. It’s also a short walk to a bar and grill, bonus! Would recommend to anyone looking to primitive camp. Very private too! She also runs a shuttle service for anyone interested!

Bring your boots because farms can be muddy! The animals on the farm are well cared for, more like pets and family. It is South Carolina swamp area so be prepared. Plenty of area for fun for the kiddos. The guide was very well constructed. The trails were great, I just wish there was about 7 miles of them. If you forget milk and such, Dollar General or Food Lion is just down the road. The cleanliness was perfect for me (the microbiologist)! The accommodations were a little tight. All in all I would highly recommend this site to others!
