Ani and I are big believers in being mindful and respectful of our environment wherever reasonable. So, we are incorporating both alternative and municipal utilities as they can fit into our homestead design and limited budget. Through good design, our goal is to show just how "normal" small living can feel. We all have personal priorities and those will vary greatly, and that's okay. But no person should be so self-absorbed that we have completely shut out the importance of being respectfully mindful to the earth and to our fellowman. After all, if we don't have that, what do we have? To be completely transparent, though, the creatives in us also would like it if we inspired onlookers to possibly look at their own space and life a little bit differently. We've personally found it to be so fulfilling to distinguish real desires and needs from the ones we've been groomed to pursue, and then work to make them a reality. We've found it energizing to witness our fellowmen and women pursuing a dream. We'd like to be a stimulating memory along any person's journey. Visiting with us, we sure hope our guests don't expect to find a corporate approach to life here, and that they can appreciate some of our old-fashioned ways. Learn more about this land: Remember this is a primitive camping area. No electric. I can bring you fresh water for drinking and cooking, or you can get it from our spickets at the greenhouse and garden area. You will have 3 choice's to camp Next to a small pond in a shady place (we are cleaning up from some storms, it may not be ready for camping however you can still explore on foot and fish) An open grassy field next to the garden, this space has spickets to hook up for water and a regular outlet for electricity but not to run a camper. Under a large oak tree. You can drive right to this area. Very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 spots by the pond, 2 spots in the grassy area and 1 under the oak tree. Water is available for all at the open grassy areas.

My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

Curt’s property was perfect for my needs. He was very accommodating in showing me around and making me feel welcomed! I had a rooftop tent and a my dog Salem. The site was perfect for Salem and level for the car. I would highly recommend this location especially if you are interested in traveling to Savannah which is only about a 30 min drive.

This was such a nice, peaceful location. It was very convenient for activities in Savannah, as well as shopping at Tanger in Pooler. We hope to make return trips to this camping spot. The host made himself available if needed and was quick to respond when messaged. This is a great spot when you come to the Savannah area!
