3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range. I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free. Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome. I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire. The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county. The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes. Campers are more then welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite. There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2). Note: This raw land is unmaintained and was last cleared 4 years ago, photos are from April 2022. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter". Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). I really enjoyed my stay here. Scott is a wonderful host. The site was easy to get into, very well taken care of, and private. The location is central & convenient to everything nearby. It is truly a haven for camping in an area that has otherwise been gentrified & built up. Thank you for the hospitality, Scott! Looking forward to another stay.

2 nights at Green Acres Private Campground

I came here in early November and wound up extending my stay twice because we enjoyed it so much. Connie and Jeff have a beautiful well maintained piece of property with plenty of level ground for the camper. There were several trails I explored with my pets and plenty of wood for fires at night. Plus only a 15 minute drive to the beach. It felt very private and safe the whole time I was there. I hope to be back someday!

I spent a few days tent camping and hunting. The property is easy to access and has plenty of space. It’s a super quiet area in the middle of the National Forest. Enjoyed clear skies, plenty of stars, and good communication from the host.

Although we didnt use all your amenities there were many. The showers were great, well maintained. Our site was level which means a lot when camping. The surroundings were great, there was a lot to do.

Weekend Trip to Tiger Corner

The area was cleared and level for a tent or even a camper. Jeff had a fire pit already set up to use. You are able to see the Moon and stars in the country area he has cleared out. Easy to located. It was very peaceful and the nature of the birds, crickets and the hoot owl were amazing! We would recommend this camp site to anyone!!!

As soon as we pulled in both hosts were there showing us where to park and they helped us. A very smooth process. We plugged in and connected the water. They have 2 beautiful outdoor bathrooms with running water a sink and lights. Beside that there is a cool outside shower. The pool is great. We had an awesome time and we will definitely return. We loved camping at scott’s spot!! he was extremely considerate from the moment we pulled in, he even had treats and a ball ready for our pups the spot is tucked behind on his land and could adjust to small/big families and had everything we needed for tent camping (plus more) and he even surprised us with eggs from his chicken to cook for breakfast. the area is both away from the hustle and bustle but also close enough to the beach and food. overall, super generous man who we can tell loves company, we could have sat and talked to him for hours but unfortunately we were short on time, thanks for everything you did for us, scott!!

We had a great stay, close to everything in town. Easy drive to the beaches. We didn’t get to use the pool or the tiki bar. But I checked it out real quick before we left. Would definitely stay again and longer if we make it back this way. Host met us on arrival and nice and helpful..

There are places to stay along your journey... And then.... there is Louie and Janice.! It's not a place to stay: it's a life experience. What a wonderful couple!!! Their place is amazing! They get it! Camping is not just about finding a place to sleep for the night; it's about meeting people. We happened to land when these guys where having one of their local concerts. It truly was the best evening of the summer!! We felt like life friends to moment they greeted us upon arrival. Love these guys like family. Highly recommend this fantastic experience! Find it...get lost in the Tiki vibe!!!! Thank you; thank you Louie and Janice❤️👍

Quiet mix of short term and seasonal folks. Very pet friendly and the pool and pond are a nice relaxing touch. Would highly recommend for a little getaway, close enough to the fun stuff but far enough away not to deal with it.

Camp is great and well kept. Lots of space and very private but still close to anything and everything you could want. It's close to the beach so of course it's going to be hot and humid with mosquitos so be prepared if you have a tent in the hot months!
