Bug spray is highly encouraged during warmer months.

We bought this Airstream in 2022 as an old shell. It was junky and a mess, and not much in it other than old scraps and junk. We renovated it in 2022 and 2023, and turned it into a cozy, midcentury modern style Glamper. We tried to plan for every comfort you could want or need, from wifi and a smart TV, to a cute bathroom, Keurig and an Air Fryer. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please note, it is tight quarters, especially for more than two people and large framed people. For this reason, we only allow two guests. We live on a busy street, but the backyard is peaceful and serene. The airstream is parked next to our creek, where waterfowl abound. Only one vehicle allowed.

The Sanctuary at Edisto river is amazing! I originally booked just a few days during Christmas, but I loved it so much that I extended my stay through New Years. Dustin was very welcoming and engaging, while also giving us space to enjoy the property.
My favorite parts were:
- The beautiful outdoor shower with a rain shower head.
- Access to FREE laundry in an inviting and well designed bath house.
- The Gazebo was fabulous! Loved relaxing on the sectional couch while watching TV and enjoying the beautiful view of the river and large patio.
I would 100% go back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique glamping experience.

Spending the night in our small RV at Dustin’s Edisto River RV resort was way beyond our expectations. There are only two sites on the property so privacy and seclusion are excellent. The restrooms facilities are VERY nice and are shared between the two sites. It was very cold during our stay (21 F) so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the screened in cabana with sofa and tv during our stay but did get to enjoy cozying up to the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. Can’t say enough good things, will be returning soon for a longer stay and use the kayaks to paddle on the Edisto. Our beagle loved the trail down to the river.

My group of three (and pups) loved camping out at Capt. John’s place! It was such a peaceful location with breathtaking views. It’s the perfect location to take in the Carolina sunrise and sunset. The bathhouse was a great amenity to have. Capt. John was a standup host who was quick to respond to any and all questions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to take in coastal nature. We will certainly be back!

Care is put into this site - from the cleared camping space, dedicated fire pit and picnic table, and the well equipped outhouse (towels, toiletries, bug spray, water bottles, organic gummy bears - you name it). Had such a great stay here, I don’t think the pictures do it justice! Very private, beautiful views and the best Hipcamp bathroom I have ever experienced by a mile. By 10 miles! I really appreciated and was impressed by the included towels and extra toiletries offered. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to camp in the Beaufort area. We drove up from Jacksonville and it was well worth the trip, thanks for a great stay!

The trip was a great escape from the go go go of normal life. There is plenty of fun to be had without leaving the property. Once the local bait shop closes its 25 minutes one way to the next closest store so be sure to take what you need a soak in the relaxation and enjoy the peaceful views of this beautiful land.

Truly a hidden gem. My daughter and I had a daddy/daughter weekend while mom was away for work. It was the most relaxing trip, very peaceful with the exception of some people doing what I assume was target practice for awhile. The site was excellent. We spent most of the time in the gazebo watching movies. The hot tub is different than pictured and is an inflatable one. Make sure it's on and running when you get there. Very nice bathroom and OUTDOOR shower. I already have another trip planned in a a few months. Dustin was excellent with communication and always responded very quickly.

This place was magical. Dustin was so kind, accommodating, and responded to questions very quickly. Site 2 has a hot tub that was perfect! Everything is clean. Perfect "glamping" location with landscaping all around you. We loved relaxing in the gazebo, spending time outdoors without losing the luxuries usually found indoors, like tv and fridge. Little to no insects. Cobblestone fire pit. Beautiful lighting and romantic atmosphere. Kayaks for use. Washer/dryer and laundry soap were provided. My husband was obsessed with the outdoor shower. I was grateful for the warm, clean, gorgeous bathroom. We went for a late evening stroll, and the fairy lights and trails were beautiful. We were truly impressed! We WILL be back!

Jonathan’s place was awesome—beautiful marsh views and so many different scenes to take in depending on the direction you’re looking. It is the type of property I’d have zero reservations recommending to others. He was super generous with firewood, which made a big difference for our campfires. The standalone bathroom was way nicer than I expected too.
It was pretty mosquito-y at first (to be expected by the marsh), but once we used bug spray and got the fire and Thermacells going, they weren’t much of an issue. Overall, just a really nice, extremely quiet, scenic spot to relax and enjoy . Would definitely come back. As would our 5, 6, and 7 yr olds.

We had a nice stay. But, after 3 days of solid rain, we decided to cut our trip short and head home. There was water, electric, and WiFi available. There also was an outside shower, with hot and cold water, which worked well when it wasn’t raining. We only used it once. The day we used it, it was chilly and windy and the wind blew through the wood slats….brrrrr!
There is no outhouse or toilet available. You are able to use the outside sewer to dump. Steve was very good about communicating with us. However, we never met him in person. Overall, we had a nice experience.

Very nice spot! Excellent long marsh views. Secluded, well maintained, quiet spot(s) to setup. 2 thumbs up for the bath house. Host even put in a new 30 amp outlet for my camper, located near the bathhouse 100 feet from the table / fire pit. No see'ums are present even in October, so insect repellant highly reccommended. This was a work trip but I'll return for sure when possible for work or leisure! Happy travels-
