A beautiful small farm where we homestead. We have a large garden, including raised beds, and raise everything organically. No pesticides. We raise miniature horses, miniature Highland and Highland cross cattle, Kune Kune and Kune Kune cross pigs, as well as chickens and geese. We have a lovely 1+ acre pond in front of the main house, which is fully stocked with Brim, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass. This pond has a wonderful ecosystem and is home to Kingfishers, wood ducks, Storks, herons, egrets, and is a place where a nesting pair of Bald Eagles come for water, and an occasional fish. We have an in-ground swimming pool, and a paddle boat to take out on the pond.
Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend get away, or a chance to experience farm life on a small homestead, this place has a lot to offer.
We offer a canning class, making artisan bread, and a hayride (tractor pulled) around the property. Breakfast and lunch or breakfast and Dinner can be included in the stay at an additional charge.
We have 2 large horses that can be fed carrots, loved on, petted, and the possibility of some riding.
Gathering eggs, feeding the hens and pigs, playing with Titan the farm mascot (our Great Dane dog), or just relaxing around the pool, or around a fire pit, there is always something happening on our little farm.
The lady of the house has her Serv Safe certification for preparing and serving food and has been a home chef for parties and catering for several years.

Camp site was amazing. Jame's was very accommodating allowing me to switch sites when I realized there was no power on the site I originally booked. Location is beautiful. No light polution, can see tons of stars at night. Bathroom and shower are small but heated and air conditioned with plenty of hot water. Easy access trails to the restroom/shower. Had a lovely time.

Amazing campsite. Great views for the sunrise and sunset. The host is amazing, his dogs are even better. If you like to fish... The ponds are well stocked. I caught 3 catfish in about 20 minutes. Amazing spot

Great site. Fishing was good. Caught 24 lb. Catfish, a Bluegill and a large mouth Bass. Neighbors were a little loud but overall, great place to enjoy nature. Clean facilities and grounds! We will be back.

3 nights at Offgrid Glamping At Private Lake
Such a quiet place to stay. You have the opportunity to relax on the large deck overlooking water. Such a relaxing place. The dome had everything we needed. Bonus points for the hammock! We will definitely be back!

We loved our trip. The hosts went above and beyond to have us have a comfortable stay. I have two toddlers, and it rained a majority of our trip, but would you believe that they set up a busy box for our toddlers so that they could have activities to do inside the camper?? So generous.
The bed was comfortable, the hot water was piping hot, the string lights were perfect. We really had no complaints. It was very quiet and relaxing! We had a great time. Highly recommend. We will be back!!!!

Beautiful! Clean! The grass was so soft. Perfect for barefoot walking. Bees and dragonflies buzzing in harmony, like surround sound, while fishing. Lots of big fish being caught all around me making kids squeal and laugh. I became the personal chef for a sneaky, pond turtle who loved my bait. Taking pictures of the beauty was my favorite experience.
100% recommend.

Weekend Trip to Offgrid Glamping At Private Lake
Everything was as advertised. Location is very secluded and peaceful. The Dome was in great shape and the interior design was impressive. We had a great experience and look forward to visiting again. Hosts were very accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Hesed Homestead
We enjoyed our stay at this secluded RV sight!
What we loved
❤️ The RV was CLEAN and so cute!
❤️ Clean sheets, towels, and water bottles were provided
❤️ Directions were clear
❤️ Jessie’s communication was great
❤️ That beautiful sunrise view
❤️The AC is fabulous
❤️ We were alone and totally unbothered during our stay
❤️ Lovely bird sounds in the morning
❤️ All the little reading lights inside the RV were very helpful
❤️ The lawn chairs were quite comfy for watching the sunrise
❤️Affordable price
Some side notes
•There were a few little gnats/bugs in the bathroom but that didn’t bother us
•I had read about their spring-fed pond and the possibility for swimming and kayaking, sadly, their kayaks don’t exist anymore due to Helene and I don’t really recommend swimming in the pond—it was very muddy and warm (we tried) If there is some way they could make the pond nicer, it could be a big perk
Overall would 100% recommend to a friend!

Weekend Trip to Small Stuff Farm
This has to be the best property offered on Hipcamp. I have rented places through Hipcamp as well as other apps, and this is the best property and best experience yet. The hosts Loretta and Erik could not be more kind and welcoming. They live onsite, and will give you space and privacy when you want it…but will also quickly make you feel like an Important part of the household.
The property is first class.
You can meet the farm animals and experience farm life as much as you’d like.
Yet you can also lounge by the pool and swim, and feel like you’re at a 5-star resort.
Very unique.
Also check out the large pond for wildlife viewing and a paddle boat ride if you’d like.
The bedroom and private bathroom is really comfortable and they have every amenity you can think of.
And be sure to include Loretta’s home cooked meals when making your reservation.
They are delicious, made with ingredients straight from the farm you are staying on, and the fellowship with new friends is the best.
Your best bet is to arrive for check-in, and not leave the property until it’s time for check-out.
You will love every moment.

The site was spacious, the restroom and shower facilities were clean and well maintained.
I have stayed at Big Creek a few times and it's always a great experience.

This is the property drive past wishing you owned. A pond with a little beach perfect for some paddle boarding or kayak. Sounds of nature.
We used this a spot on the way to Georgia but wished we had more time to stay. Victor was very nice and he’s done an amazing work to the property making it comfortable with the electric water and sewer hook up. Our dog Rusty was excited to make friends with Victors dog blue and it was so cute seeing them sit outside the camper and play together. We will definitely be marking this as a must stop.
