Rent our elevated popup tent.  There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like? It is your very own exclusive home away from home.   Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets. Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore. Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

Safe, quiet neighborhood w/ lots of old Michigan deciduous trees Off-street parking in backyard (if your car-camping:) Safe fenced-in property w/ security camera There is an outdoor dining area under a big cherry tree... a fire pit... primitive outdoor bathroom and access to electricity & water. Alcohol etc. friendly (legal-age only, obvs) On one side of our backyard here in the city is a large flower & vegetable garden, sheltered from a very low-key private parking lot for a 100yr old Polish Hall... and the neighbors on the other side are friendly & super chill! It's a nice, easy walk to downtown &/or there are two LIME Program bike & scooter share areas 2 blocks from the house & a city bus stop 1 block away! There's room for 3 tents: (or a couple LARGE family tents!:) 10'x'14' tent spots, 6'x8' tent spot, & if necessary, room for a small 2-person backpacking/solo tent We also have 1 very large "family" tent, 2 air mattresses & 2 sleeping bags available for rent! It is your very own exclusive home away from home.   Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets. Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore. Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

We have had the best campers, leaving such wonderful reviews, so we are sad to say that our local township sent us a letter saying we are zoned for rural residential land and not for commercial, that we can no longer have campers here. None of our camping sites can be seen from the road and matter of fact most of them can't be seen from the air even. Our Township told us that they would have never known we had campers here except for that somebody saw our website page and complained. It's amazing the jealousy and envy that people have. We are going to petition our township and then it will have to go to the county board, it could take a little while, we hope by next year camping season to be open again. We're glad many campers were able to enjoy the land here and we just wanted to say a big thank you to all who have came and camped may the rest of your year be blessed.

We love Blue Lake Biergarten! Our family joined two other families for a fall camping weekend, and had a lovely time. The camping areas are so spacious we all had plenty of room. The grates on the fire pits were perfect for cooking our meals, and the kids had a blast playing capture the flag and collecting dead sticks for campfires. Our weekend lined up with a tasting event from Long Road Distilling, which was a fun treat when we visited the biergarten. We're already looking forward to the next time we go!

Holly is an amazing post she's very friendly and kind. She has a beautiful piece of property located in quaint little piece of the woods. There's plenty of room for parking of a car and a RV. She is very accommodating. Also has a beautiful fire pit for nights outside. I was struggling with my propane in my RV and Holly was kind enough to let us use her grill.

We loved staying here! Sites are private and spacious. Porta potties are clean. Water available and drinkable. Ice and firewood available onsite. Biergarten and food truck were both great. Staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had good recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay here again!

What a fun place to camp! The included bundle of wood on my first night was a lovely surprise, and the little touches like wildflowers, the lighted port-o-let and a bucket of water for extinguishing the campfire were appreciated. This is all before we get to the quaint Biergarten with a food truck, a small assortment of mixed drinks and beers from local breweries who use hops grown on the farm. I hiked Owasippe Scout Reservation’s trails, which were nearby, and visited Lake Michigan. Great visit!

I would highly recommend staying at Doug and Kerri's place. The views are beautiful and it was so peaceful and relaxing. They have a lot of extras at the campground and it's easy to tell they want their guests to be comfortable and happy. They were easy to communicate with and very pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Gray's Riverside Camp
Grays River Camp was awesome. Angie was a super host and very pleasant to talk with. Attentive to needs and making sure campers are happy. She has done a lot with the campground for improvements, making sure there is a little bit for everyone to have fun outdoors or indoors in the case of bad weather. It was very quiet, clean and peaceful camped along the river. Plenty of room to walk dogs if you have them. We floated the Muskegon during our stay. Angie dropped us off at a riverside park in Big Rapids and we paddled and fished our way back to camp. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are camping there again the following weekend. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking to get away from the congested state campgrounds and larger RV resorts. Great for RV’s and Tents. There is a dump station for RV’s which was a blessing. Thanks Angie, we look forward to coming back.
