If you’re traveling with children or want to camp, there’s also plenty of space for a tent. There are two cabins on the property, each with its own fire pit and chairs. While they are next to each other, there’s ample space between them, and they’re close enough for a family or group to rent both for a shared stay. We live on the property, so you may see us or our friendly dog around. While we try to give our guests space, we’re always available to answer questions and enjoy a friendly conversation when welcomed. Please note, while we have a dog, we do not allow guests to bring pets. Things to Know Before You Book This is a SMOKE-FREE property, both INSIDE and OUTSIDE. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and relax responsibly. However, we do not allow any illegal drugs or excessive drinking. If we feel that guests are intoxicated or using drugs, they will be asked to leave, and the police may be called if necessary. The only people allowed on the property are those listed on the reservation. If you’re thinking about having guests, please reach out for permission first. There will be absolutely no parties. There is no TV. We do not offer wifi. Think of this as a place to unplug and enjoy some peace and quiet. Having said that, most cell services work just fine here.” We do have neighbors who are generally quiet. My dog may bark at wildlife. You may be present during my yard work. There is always the possibility of road work. As a rule, it is quiet and peaceful. My yard is a shared space. The beach is shared, too; although we do not have a lot of traffic.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash or tethered in the backyard (due to wildlife and my two cats). Pets cannot be left unattended. House Rules: No unregistered guests without prior approval. No parties. No smoking, vaping, candles, or open flames indoors. Please put out your campfire with the bucket of water provided. Quiet time is 10 PM (out of respect for neighbours). Please clean up after your pet.

Camping and lodging options include a large open camp area, a tiny house, and a covered wagon. Chris Zielski and Alan Block are the wife and husband team that steward the farm. Chris is a metal artist and has a beautiful onsite studio for her business, Copper Leaf Studios. Alan is a sourdough baker, gardener, and fermenter. In addition to Hipcampers, Flannel Dog Farm hosts art shows, classes, and retreats. Much like our farm's name, our place is warm, welcoming, rustic, and a little bit gritty. Enjoy the lovely setting of this quiet spot in nature conveniently located near Geneva on the Lake and surrounding wineries. Propane heater and gas generator for electricity add more comfortable options for your stay. Outside port-a-potty is private and not shared with anyone else. Please bring your own bedding for use on the futon. Limited water is supplied for your use. There is not pre-cut firewood on the premises, but you are welcome to cut down logs. If you plan on having a fire, there is also firewood for sale within 5 minutes at Geneva Lakeside Storage. Any fuel that is onsite when you arrive, you are welcome to use. Plan to acquire fuel if you anticipate using the electric and heating elements. We have fuel canisters onsite if you'd like to use them to transport fuel from the nearest stores back to the site. We do not have a cleaning crew out between each visit, so please be courteous and leave the site the way you left it.

The Hosta Cabin sits on about 7 acres of peaceful lakefront property with 450 feet of frontage on Lake Erie. We have stairs that provide direct access to the beach, and there’s ample room to hang out, enjoy a campfire, or take a long walk by the water. If you’re traveling with children or want to camp, there’s also plenty of space for a tent. There are two cabins on the property, each with its own fire pit and chairs. While they are next to each other, there’s ample space between them, and they’re close enough for a family or group to rent both for a shared stay. We live on the property, so you may see us or our friendly dog around. While we try to give our guests space, we’re always available to answer questions and enjoy a friendly conversation when welcomed. Please note, while we have a dog, we do not allow guests to bring pets. Things to Know Before You Book This is a SMOKE-FREE property, both INSIDE and OUTSIDE. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and relax responsibly. However, we do not allow any illegal drugs or excessive drinking. If we feel that guests are intoxicated or using drugs, they will be asked to leave, and the police may be called if necessary. The only people allowed on the property are those listed on the reservation. If you’re thinking about having guests, please reach out for permission first. There will be absolutely no parties. There is no TV. We do not offer wifi. Think of this as a place to unplug and enjoy some peace and quiet. Having said that, most cell services work just fine here.” We do have neighbors who are generally quiet. My dog may bark at wildlife. You may be present during my yard work. There is always the possibility of road work. As a rule, it is quiet and peaceful. My yard is a shared space. The beach is shared, too; although we do not have a lot of traffic.
