Camp is on 50 acres with a pink marked trail to Red Bank Creek on the western border and back up through a hemlock forest along south border. A small stream runs through the property and forms a rocky delta in Red Bank Creek. All camp sites are on the eastern border and close to the main road to access property. Hike, enjoy the sound of the stream tickling through property, stargaze, or rest, watch nature's critters, read or just relax in a hammock. No hunting on property but fishing permitted along "river" aka Red Bank Creek. Please keep fires in firepit and noise levels low. The last day for shower use is Oct 15th. You’re more than welcome to bring your own portable shower hook up and use the shower house for privacy. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will need to have a cigarette lighter access to use the shower to power the pump. We recommend bringing flashlights as our property is solar powered and there is no electric on the property. On low sunny days, solar lights may not last as long into the evening. On rainy days the property can be very muddy and access to the top of the hill to the sites would be best accessed with a 4WD vehicle as well as winter time with snow on the ground. Just outside the quaint town of Austin sits a vivid reminder of one of Pennsylvania's worst disasters – the Austin Flood. In 1909, the dam was constructed on Freeman Run to power the Bayless Papermill downstream. Many wondered if the dam was safe. On September 30, 1911, Austin found out. Poor construction, coupled with torrential rain, resulted in the dam's collapse. Nearly 400 million gallons of water were released, destroying everything for 8 miles. At least 78 people perished in the tragedy. It was the second worst flood disaster in Pennsylvania's history and sixth worst dam failure in U.S. history. The tragedy sparked new legislation to improve dam safety, and the Austin Dam was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. We are very close to Letchworth State Park and Stony Brook State Park. About 2.5 hours from Niagara Falls. We also have an ATV Park, Tall Pines, right over the hill from us, they also have a brewery which is open on weekends.We are only 8 miles from The Alfred State and Alfred University Campuses. A quick trip will take you to Stonybrook or Letchworth State Park.. On our farm we can do farm tours,we can also offer felting lessons for a fee. Shopping available in our farm store. Alpaca makes great gifts for someone special or for yourself.. Enjoy a walk thru our new Fairy Trail. It's been created with the help of our grandkids. We offer birthday parties too!. Scavenger Hunt, Fairy Hunt or an Alpaca Experience.

My pup and I loved our overnight stay. The property is beautiful and quiet. We woke in the morning to a herd of deer walking through camp. Having electric available was a big bonus. We were car camping and being able to have a car heater to keep us cozy was perfect on a 30 degree night. My pup loved being able to be off leash.

3 nights at Clear Creek Cook Forest Campsite

This site is perfect! The road is a bit rough towards then end, but it’s a short distance. Do go to the left as Josh recommends! We went right without our camper to see and don’t, just don’t. The site is well kept and private and very big. Perfect to let our dog, Sully, roam free the whole time. It was his first camping trip. A+ for Sully. Already thinking about coming back next year. Thank you for the nice relaxing time!

This is an amazing campsite. Very well thought out in design and very private. Out of my 6 days on the road this was my best night. Tons of firewood, plenty of space for large groups, a great patio with seating boulders and ample space for parking. Highly recommend. Oh, super nice guy as well!

Weekend Trip to Clear Creek Cook Forest Campsite

We absolutely love this campsite! This is not the first time we've been here, and certainly won't be the last! This site is absolutely perfect for our family and dog! It is private, quiet, beautiful and clean! Sitting at the campfire and staring into the woods is life-giving. Our kids and dog can run around without any worry. The electric and water hook ups are so nice to have as well! There are several picnic tables to use and an awesome fire ring. Pulling in and out are super easy because of the nicely graveled area! Don't let the road coming in discourage you...this is no indication of what you'll experience once you're there! We thank Josh and his family for allowing us to use the site again to end our 2025 camping season (we began with them too!) We will certainly be back in 2026!

Been there a couple times and this spot never disappoints! Great hosts, beautiful camping area, perfect for stargazing or just to have a relaxing few days in a serene environment. I couldn’t rave enough about this place!! 10/10 always!!

2 nights at Austin Dam Memorial Park

Great spot! Directions that were sent were perfect. Sites were clearly marked, which was really appreciated since we pulled in at night in the rain. Firewood was delivered to our site and under a tarp (again, super appreciated) We had a great stay. Secluded, we didn’t have to speak to anyone the whole 2 days we were there. Stars were beautiful at night. Also, had decent cell service, which I was surprised by. No frills, just nature.

Weekend Trip to Austin Dam Memorial Park

Did some drive-up tent camping here with some friends in October and had a great time! We had site 8 which was nice and secluded with a wonderful view of the autumn colors. Easy access to hikes to the old paper mill and Austin Dam right from our campsite. Porta-potty was right nearby and sparkly clean. And we had full cell service too (T-Mobile).

This was a wonderful property there was so much to do within a short distance wish we could have stayed a whole week. Hosts were very hospitable delivering firewood and giving us a shuttle so we could pick up our kayaks after a day of paddling they're also very knowledgeable of the area and we're able to point out a few things that we took advantage of being able to do that we would not have found if it wasn't for them

Weekend Trip to Austin Dam Memorial Park

This is probably my 5th or 6th stay here and our experience has and still is amazing! Alvie was great and very helpful. He told us about the events going on at the park and what to watch out for in terms of wildlife and also gave us great suggestions on where to hike. Camp site was very clean and well maintained. My group and I would definitely be returning again in the near future!

Fantastic place to camp. Unfortunately weather wasn't perfect so we didn't get to see the stars, but there is always next time! If you stay here make sure to check out the town of Coudersport
