The campsite offers a blend of rustic charm and warm hospitality, with hosts Dolly and Jim frequently mentioned for their friendliness and helpfulness. Campers enjoy the scenic setting with horses and a stream, making it a peaceful spot for those passing through. While the amenities are basic, the communal fire pit and provided firewood add to the camping experience. A few reviews note the lack of solitude during busy times and some maintenance issues, but overall, guests find the location welcoming and pleasant.

When we pulled into her driveway Dolly greeted us immediately and we followed her to the campground across the road. We found a sweet little spot next to a stream and we were lulled to sleep. And we enjoyed seeing the horses.

Dolly and Jim’s land is absolutely stunning and their hospitality is even more impressive! We showed up just before the rain started and they came down to welcome us. It was cold and raining the whole time but they helps us make the most of it. Dolly played games with my kids and we talked about life in the evening around a campfire. I couldn’t be more grateful for their help and time! Would definitely recommend!

I was passing through for the night and it was a great place to stay - friendly and helpful. They left wood for a campfire which was also nice. Thanks!
