All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. Ideally located - West facing views to the Delaware River that provides spectacular sunsets. The quaint town of Callicoon is six miles to the North and Narrowsburg is six miles to the south. Most of the restaurants in those towns and other towns nearby areas are farm to table - excellent quality. Wildlife is abundant - you will see many deer, bald eagles, bear, wild turkeys, and much more. Pepper spray is a must for spending time on the property. We have not seen a bear on our property, however there have been sightings near by. River access is approximately one mile south on NY97 at Skinners Falls Campground. Boating equipment can be rented there from Lander's River Trips and tubes can be rented by Lothian House adjacent to the free parking lot. Guidelines: 1 Please keep all food and garbage inside your trailer during your entire stay unless you are eating at the picnic bench. 2 Keep pepper spray on your person at all times! It can be purchased at Tom's Bait and Tackle at the strip mall just before entering Narrowsburg: 116 Kirks Rd. Check photos 3 Please take all food scraps with you - avoid pouring cooking oil and leaving garbage on the property. 4 Kindly use the fire pit 20 feet or more from the picnic table and all trees - the location it is in when you arrive is the best place. 5 Please avoid touching any electric wires to prevent electric shock. 6 Please cover the picnic table and metal fire pit before leaving. 7 Please be respectful of our neighbors by staying on our property. There are pink ribbons tied around the tree trunks to mark our boundaries-beyond those ribbons is our neighbor's property. 8 We do not supply firewood, however there is plenty that can be gathered from our property. We supply fire-starters (kindling, newspaper, matches), but not firewood (available for purchase at a nearby market). Potable water is available in containers that are refilled upon request. The toilet is rustic. Our farm is home to herds of White-Tailed Deer, Wild Turkeys, Painted Turtles, Red-Tail Hawks, my Off-The-Track Thoroughbred horse, chickens, ducks, and Aslan, my Cocker Spaniel. Birdsong, frog song, the babbling creek, and the thundering hooves of Deva will serenade you to sleep. During your stay, you're welcome to hike, swim, and fish in the pond. Boating and fishing opportunities abound nearby, in the Delaware River or the famous fly-fishing creeks. Bethel Woods is a mere 20 minutes away. Relax in a secluded, comfortable tent while enjoying the music of the frogs. The land is a mix of cleared and wooded areas with a half acre pond. In the spring the pond comes alive with the singing of frogs and the blinking of fireflies. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and a brilliant display of stars. The pond is nice for swimming or paddling. We provide a kayak or just sit on the dock or relax in the hammock. The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. There will be a list in the tent with suggested activities in the surrounding area if you choose to go exploring. We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. There will be 2 large jugs of water at the site and additional water at the handwashing station on the back side of the outhouse. The site offers total privacy. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear. We are a couple of longtime residents of this beautiful piece of the planet and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Enjoy BEAUTIFUL, fall camping at our mostly private and very spacious lake property with dock and boats. The mild October weather still provides a great opportunity to camp and enjoy the lovely foliage around the lake! Our folks bought this family property in 1953, and it is used and maintained now by our family. We feel blessed to be able to share it with our own children and grandchildren today, and offer it to others to enjoy who may not have such a peaceful and serene spot to relax and unwind. Stay on 10 beautiful acres of rustic, private land with many good camping spots to choose from in grassy areas with lots of trees.  Enjoy boating/fishing/swimming. We have a gazebo at the lake shore, and an anchored swimming float. Kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and peddle boat are available. Lots of wildlife around the lake to enjoy. Campfire ring,  water spigot (private drilled well) and electric available on the property. Neighbor cottage partially visible, but our property is pretty secluded and private. Picnic tables and chairs provided.  Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required.  Mostly level terrain, ample parking area.  Very peaceful here.  My favorite place to relax, with a guitar and a glass of wine! Choose your own campsite; spots are reasonably private and secluded. Mowed paths throughout camping section; both sunny and shady spots on both sides of stream.  The lake and dock area and the boats, the gazebo, and metal fire ring and picnic tables, are communal. Parking is in a large gravel area behind cottage. Campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area.  Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose. There is no bathroom. (Cottage is private.)  You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liner bags.  Trash and recycling cans are provided. No shower, but the lake is great for swimming - even in FALL!

All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. Ideally located - West facing views to the Delaware River that provides spectacular sunsets. The quaint town of Callicoon is six miles to the North and Narrowsburg is six miles to the south. Most of the restaurants in those towns and other towns nearby areas are farm to table - excellent quality. Wildlife is abundant - you will see many deer, bald eagles, bear, wild turkeys, and much more. Pepper spray is a must for spending time on the property. We have not seen a bear on our property, however there have been sightings near by. River access is approximately one mile south on NY97 at Skinners Falls Campground. Boating equipment can be rented there from Lander's River Trips and tubes can be rented by Lothian House adjacent to the free parking lot. Guidelines: 1 Please keep all food and garbage inside your trailer during your entire stay unless you are eating at the picnic bench. 2 Keep pepper spray on your person at all times! It can be purchased at Tom's Bait and Tackle at the strip mall just before entering Narrowsburg: 116 Kirks Rd. Check photos 3 Please take all food scraps with you - avoid pouring cooking oil and leaving garbage on the property. 4 Kindly use the fire pit 20 feet or more from the picnic table and all trees - the location it is in when you arrive is the best place. 5 Please avoid touching any electric wires to prevent electric shock. 6 Please cover the picnic table and metal fire pit before leaving. 7 Please be respectful of our neighbors by staying on our property. There are pink ribbons tied around the tree trunks to mark our boundaries-beyond those ribbons is our neighbor's property. 8 We do not supply firewood, however there is plenty that can be gathered from our property. The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear. Picnic tables and chairs provided.  Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required.  Mostly level terrain, ample parking area.  Very peaceful here.  My favorite place to relax, with a guitar and a glass of wine! Choose your own campsite; spots are reasonably private and secluded. Mowed paths throughout camping section; both sunny and shady spots on both sides of stream.  The lake and dock area and the boats, the gazebo, and metal fire ring and picnic tables, are communal. Parking is in a large gravel area behind cottage. Campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area.  Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose. There is no bathroom. (Cottage is private.)  You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liner bags.  Trash and recycling cans are provided. No shower, but the lake is great for swimming - even in FALL!

In the spring the pond comes alive with the singing of frogs and the blinking of fireflies. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and a brilliant display of stars. The pond is nice for swimming or paddling. We provide a kayak or just sit on the dock or relax in the hammock. The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. There will be a list in the tent with suggested activities in the surrounding area if you choose to go exploring. We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. There will be 2 large jugs of water at the site and additional water at the handwashing station on the back side of the outhouse. The site offers total privacy. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear. We are a couple of longtime residents of this beautiful piece of the planet and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Enjoy BEAUTIFUL, fall camping at our mostly private and very spacious lake property with dock and boats. The mild October weather still provides a great opportunity to camp and enjoy the lovely foliage around the lake! Our folks bought this family property in 1953, and it is used and maintained now by our family. We feel blessed to be able to share it with our own children and grandchildren today, and offer it to others to enjoy who may not have such a peaceful and serene spot to relax and unwind. Stay on 10 beautiful acres of rustic, private land with many good camping spots to choose from in grassy areas with lots of trees.  Enjoy boating/fishing/swimming. We have a gazebo at the lake shore, and an anchored swimming float. Kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and peddle boat are available. Lots of wildlife around the lake to enjoy. Campfire ring,  water spigot (private drilled well) and electric available on the property. Neighbor cottage partially visible, but our property is pretty secluded and private. Picnic tables and chairs provided.  Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required.  Mostly level terrain, ample parking area.  Very peaceful here.  My favorite place to relax, with a guitar and a glass of wine! Choose your own campsite; spots are reasonably private and secluded. Mowed paths throughout camping section; both sunny and shady spots on both sides of stream.  The lake and dock area and the boats, the gazebo, and metal fire ring and picnic tables, are communal. Parking is in a large gravel area behind cottage. Campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area.  Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose. There is no bathroom. (Cottage is private.)  You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liner bags.  Trash and recycling cans are provided. No shower, but the lake is great for swimming - even in FALL!

Grab a bite to eat at Salsa Shack, less than 10 minutes away, while gazing at the lush greenery, mountain views and beaver pond. Afterwards, work off the meal, with an amazing and scenic hike, or walking trails. The famous Jensen Ledges and Patridge Walking Trail are a short drive away. On the way back to camp take a quick dip at the Lordville River Access, stop at the Equinunk General Store or grab some ice cream at The Cow Lick. Besides the plethora of possibilities, other amenities are included with your stay. As an overview, included with the camp are bulk cooking items (pots, pans, serving utensils, knives, spices), large 15 cup coffee maker/urn and 7 to 14 gallons of fresh, drinkable, well water for your usage. Upon reservation, we provide a kitchen content list of specific items. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Allen and the kids, and had such a pleasant experience. He drove out belongings and some of us down the the glamping site and was kind and welcoming. The tent was clean, comfortable and warm. We had all the firewood we needed, cooking supplies, composting toilet in the outhouse, water. My husband and I had a great time with our son and teenage nephews. Highly recommend the beautiful surrounding scenery of the lake and woods and wildlife. I didn’t get to meet Donna, but she is very friendly and communicative. Thank you for a great stay!

The area was incredibly beautiful and close to a cute little town. Despite some travel issues, we were met with kindness and flexibility, which show how amazing they were at hosting! This glamping tent was PERFECT!!! Donna, Alan, and Tyrion 🐱 were perfect hosts. The heater in the tent was great for the colder nights and my puppy loved the land to sniff around. Very close to Rickette’s Glen state park and local to some cidery’s and winery’s. We even checked out a drive-in movie when we were there. If you’re looking to unplug and to have some privacy, this is perfect :)
