My desire to provide charm and delight has driven most of the details that also includes a pergola that has a swinging twin bed and chairs to gather and chat. There is gorgeous outdoor lighting for at night and hanging chandelier at night surrounded in the deep of summer with mature jasmine bushes that waft their sweet scent from May into September.

My husband and I loved staying at Trent's cabin! We were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway where we could take long walks in the woods and relax in a comfortable cabin at night. The wood stove hot tub was amazing. Trent was a great host and was very attentive to our needs while also making sure we had all the privacy that we could want. I would stay here again anytime!

Wonderful experience and great place especially if you’re looking to escape the city for a few days! The animals and garden was pretty awesome and getting to pick eggs and eat our own green beans was super fun. The host was fantastic too. Very accommodating and friendly. 5 stars would recommend.

My 6yo son and I had a lovely two nights on the farm! We stayed in the perfectly petite Farm Cottage, which was just the right size for us. Being surrounded by so many happy animals was a delight, and we especially enjoyed the Morning Farm Chores add-on, spending about 90 minutes helping feed and water the horses, pony, goats, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, geese, sheep, mini pig, rabbits, mini horses, and donkey. The location was great for Gorge sightseeing, and we enjoyed meals in cute downtown Troutdale (a 15min drive from the farm), easy hike at Latourell Falls, a visit up to Vista House, and brunch down at Multnomah Falls. The farm was peaceful and quiet, and a welcome retreat from city life. We highly recommend a visit or a stay there!

We loved staying in Trent’s little cabin oasis! The bed was comfy, the hot tub was extremely fun and relaxing, the hammock was where my wife spent most of her time, while I spent my time cooking and playing fetch with our dog.
I’d certainly recommend this place to friends! The cooking supplies really helped, and there were little things like salt/pepper, the bedside fan, fresh water, ice, tiki torches, and coffee that made our stay even better.

If you want to feel like you're not in the city yet still be close to all the fun, this is the place. Check in was easy. The room is small and cozy and the bed was so comfortable. The yard filled with sweet smelling flowers, lights and a hanging bed was the perfect way to settle in for the night. The hosts made us coffee in the morning and we got to meet their adorable puppy! I felt like home here!

From the moment we first communicated with Trent he was very accommodating. Everyone around the property is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Any questions you have they can answer (even about Burmese Poison Fighting Goats). The bed was very comfortable, the wood fired hot tub relaxing, and the property serene (albeit some noisy neighbors at 4am- looking at you roosters). Stay here, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Weekend Trip to Sweet Relief
Trent and family were excellent hosts! They gave us space but were also only a call or message away if we needed anything. Their property is beautiful and peaceful with all the amenities you could ask for. Will be returning for a longer stay!

Weekend Trip to The "Farmer-For-A-Day" Program
How many people can say they slept in a barn? We can, and it was amazing! Don’t forget your essentials!
The animals were so fantastic! The farm is so cute! Non profit for kids?! Yes! How great!
Ms. Elana help say with the farmer for a day during our stay! It was soooo much fun! We got in so many snuggles and learned a lot!

2 nights at Sweet Relief
Between the very homey and well-maintained cabin+trails to our incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, my wife and I really enjoyed our time staying on Trent's property. He gave us wonderful suggestions for our hiking and adventuring that turned out really well for us, and also checked in to make sure we were doing well during our stay, without being invasive or intruding on our vacation time. The hot tub is awesome, we had fresh eggs from Trent's chickens with our breakfast (and enjoyed feeding the goats 🐐) and our time was well incredibly spent and relaxing. Thanks again!!
