We had the best time in the forager site!
The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a big storm come through the night of our stay and the hosts were super hospitable and brought us a backup power bank. The heater blankets on the bed were a great touch too!

Kelly and Randy were so attentive and sweet!! We had such an incredible weekend and I’m so thankful they shared their space and sweet animals with us. Don’t skip out on the fresh farm egg breakfast and playing fetch with Boone. Our favorite goats were Milo and chance, special mention to lavender the chicken. This weekend was such a special memory for us and I’m thankful we spent my partners birthday here. We will be back for sure :)

Weekend Trip to River View Dome - Goode Time Ranch
Kelly's Geo-dome was exactly as advertised. There were heaters inside, which we used this morning. My friend Darcy characterized it as, "better than glamping."
The power shut off last night after we were already in for the night so it didn't impact us. This morning, we easily got the power back on.
There were very friendly dogs and also goats with whom we didn't interact. We will definitely be back next!

The Secret Garden was a wonderful stay! The dome is equipped with many amenities, the camp space has great lighting, and you can choose to sleep gazing at the stars or completely shaded. Dominique and his family are very nice and there for any inquiries. Check this place out!

We simply loved our stay at Kelly's place! Everything was incredible, from the fully-equipped dome with comfortable furniture and all the amenities, cutlery and accessories one could wish for (it even had Sonos bluetooth speaker) to the care and attention to details of the host who was so kind to bring us daily fresh farm egg breakfast, and to the extensive activities opportunities nearby - disk golf, axe throwing, soccer and more!
But above all, you the views were simply astounding, with picturesque sights of the river and the plains and unbeatable sunsets

My husband and I stayed 2 nights for our 15th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been more perfect! The dome itself was amazing and had everything you could need. A lot of thought and effort went into it! But the cherry on top for us was the animals! Boone was there to greet us with his ball and kept watch over us our whole stay. The views are amazing day and night! We loved feeding/petting the chickens and goats too! Even had a deer hang out with us all day at camp! Just an amazing, perfect experience all around! Thank you so much and I'm sure we'll be back!

We LOVED the dome and our own little secret campground hidden off the side of Dom’s place. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. When you set foot inside the secret garden, it feels like you’re deep in the woods somewhere, when in reality you are living the best of both worlds with a perfect campsite that is IN Portland. You can switch seamlessly between relaxing in nature off grid and then go down the road to enjoy city life. Not to mention you get to stay in a very cool dome with a clear paneled half that makes for some good stargazing.

Kelly’s place was the perfect escape for a 2-night getaway! It was our first time camping with our two kids, and this spot was the ideal introduction — a comfortable mix between a tent and a cozy tiny home. The Dome had everything we needed for a short stay, and the views were absolutely stunning.
Kelly was incredibly kind and responsive, always making sure we had what we needed. Our kids especially loved playing with Boone (the friendly host dog), feeding the goats, and the chickens — such a fun experience for them!
Even though the host’s home is visible, the site still felt private and welcoming. We also recommend checking out the Port of Kalama and Horseshoe Lake while you’re in the area.
Would absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay in the dome on Goode Time Ranch — it’s such a unique and special place. Kelly was an incredibly kind and thoughtful host who went out of her way to connect with us and our 6-year-old daughter. She even taught her how to gently pick up and hold chickens, which quickly became the highlight of the trip!
The dome itself is beautiful and super comfortable. Our family of 3 got an amazing night's sleep. In the morning, Kelly made us a delicious fresh egg breakfast that was such a lovely touch. We also enjoyed exploring the forest walk and playing endless rounds of fetch with their sweet dog Boone.
We were honestly sad we had only booked one night and can’t wait to come back for a longer stay. This place truly feels like a little slice of heaven. As our daughter was falling asleep, she said, “This was a really good day.” We couldn’t agree more. ❤️

10/10, I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anybody looking for a nice get away or just needing a place to hunker down when passing through Portland. Clean, perfect location, lots of local food and night life, and Dom & Ruby are great hosts. Check it out if you get the chance!

Dom and Amanda's place and family were so sweet! We loved the Dome in the Secret Garden, playing music barefoot in the backyard next to the raspberry bush, and eating a shared meal around the campfire under the stars. So beautiful and close to everything in Portland. The hosts were extra accommodating, offering firewood, special touches, and just such a lovely and friendly community vibe, even when our group arrived later than standard. Thank you so much for having this sacred space available to book. We hope to be back!

Kelly is very welcoming and created a beautiful and sublime atmosphere for guests to both have time and space to themselves as well as feeling welcome to explore, to chat with her, to visit with her goats and chickens or play a game of disc golf or axe throwing. The Dome was decorated in a simple yet elegant way that felt inviting while also providing a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Perfect for a quiet getaway.

Great spot! We just needed one night sleeping arrangement last minute. Dom was super accommodating and prepped the space for us. The bed was comfortable and clean with AC. A fun concept to rest and hangout! Safe and easy to find.
For lunch/breakfast we went to Cherry Hill Deli! Super recommended European bakery, deli and goods store nearby.
