One of my favorite cabin stays Ive ever experienced! The land is magical and the cabin was so cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches. My favorite place was the loft, waking up to the windows surrounding you with beautiful trees and rain pouring on the roof- can’t get much better. My partner and my dog and I felt very welcomed by Danny and Molly and we hope to return!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

Weekend Trip to Alsea Valley Farm
We had a wonderful time staying at this special spot for a friends getaway. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin is so well thought-out, and it's lovely to see the creativity and time that has gone into this property. It's so nice to be able to walk right out the door and hike their private trails, listen to the creek, and relax. We arrived right after fire restrictions were lifted, so we were able to use the outdoor fire pit and look at the stars. We also used the sauna every day we were there. It has an electric sauna heater and a small woodstove, so you can choose your heat source, and the short little path down to the cold dip in the creek is genius. Some folks in reviews have mentioned the composting toilets--as some of our group lives entirely off-grid, we were actually taking pictures of their setup because it's really well designed. Just think of all the water you're saving in the world. The property itself is well cared for, and their little dog is such a cutie. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Amico Roma Farm
We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes!
We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!

2 nights at Burgess Backyard
This was one of the best places we have stayed with Hip Camp. The yurt was tiptop clean. The property spacious was peaceful. Janean did not bother us but was there if we needed her. We recommend this place to everyone. J & C

Everything was great. Janine was a wonderful host and the yurt was clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the big swing, the fire pit, and the visits from dog and ducks. We will definitely recommend this place to friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista Tent! Everything was impeccably clean, all you could possibly need was provided, and the bed was SO comfy! The view from the tent was beautiful, and it felt very secluded and private. The sauna was a great extra bonus and the property was large with woodsy trails to walk around too. We would definitely stay again!

The location to beaches, lakes, and town can't be beat. Great local recommendations as well! The yurt is very homey complete with kitchen essentials such as full-size fridge, 2-burner hot plate, We had duck eggs each morning, and loved hearing the ducks quacking and watching them bathe. We loved looking up to the sky at night from the yurt!

1 night at Amico Roma Farm
We loved our time at Carly’s!! We loved it so much, we stayed an additional night. Every detail was thought of. Very well curated. It felt luxurious. And the sauna!!! Huge perk we went several times. Will definitely stay here again.
Two things to note: be physically capable of walking up a steep incline while carrying items to get to the TENT. The location and view are perfect and very private, but it’s a little workout to get up there for sure. Secondly there are many farm animals and dogs. The noise travels easily and it can be noisy late into the night. We still slept fine and loved our stay overall - but important to be aware of before you arrive.

We loved staying at the Alsea family farms creek cabin! Where to begin?! The hosts were so kind and left us veggies and fresh strawberries picked from their garden on the property. Also a fresh vase of flowers sat on the kitchen table when we arrived which was so thoughtful. The cabin has a private hiking trail that was so peaceful and lovely. The streams and small series of bridges behind the cabin was charming and peaceful. I sat on the bigger footbridge for breakfast one morning taking in the surroundings. Small and all children not connected to devices especially would love to explore around near the creek and look and listen for critters. For the space itself was beautiful clean with everything you need. Bedding was lovely to look at comfortable to sleep in and clean. One thing that might throw certain people off would be the composting toilet. The management team works hard maintaining the space and keeping it as clean and functional and good smelling as possible. But it is a composting toilet. I personally had no problem with it. I grew up camping so this was no big deal. Up in the loft my children said they felt like they were in a treehouse. We really enjoyed everything about this place and I would have stayed longer if I could. I look forward to coming back and have shared pictures and my experience with friends. We are so grateful to Janine and her family for letting our pretty large family rent out her yurt and campsite. We loved the ducks greeting us upon our arrival, which she let the little ones feed. Her dog was also a big hit! The cozy yurt had everything we could need or want. The rain coming down on the yurt roof was magical sounding. We loved hanging around the campfire, Janine sells firewood which was super convenient. We made such great memories here and would recommend to anyone who wants to experience glamping close to town! Thank you Janine and family for sharing your lovely property with us! 🩷

This was such a tranquil spot for our family. The cabin had everything we needed, was super comfortable, with so many windows looking out into the beautiful woods. The camp hosts were thoughtful and friendly, responded quickly to messages, and welcomed us onto the whole property with its gardens and chickens. We took a relaxing stroll through the stunning woods and spent quiet afternoons playing games and reading. Perfect!

Weekend Trip to Burgess Backyard
This was our first yurt and it was the best experience, so inviting and cozy. We felt so safe and secured, it was quiet from outside noises, and had everything we would need. I’m so jealous of Janine’s gorgeous lot, beautiful pets, fun swing, and cool roof of the yurt! Would for sure love to come back with a bigger group, it was right by the Lake, sand dunes, and sweet creek trails. This place checked all my boxes for sure when searching for glamping.

We loved staying here! The place is charming with little details throughout, and the space is very functional and cozy. The beds were comfortable in the loft and bedroom, but I found the couch that converts to a bed to be a little uncomfortable. To be fair I am in my 50s and not as spry as I once was.
The host was exceptional, very welcoming and gave us delicious produce from the garden. I can still taste those sweet cherry tomatoes!
Wild turkeys and deer wander through the field which makes this place even more special.
