You are welcome to bring your trailer with ATV, we just don't allow riding on our property. Sites are fairly level but they are on grass, so may require a bit of leveling.

Winchester Bay offers the closest entrance to the dunes where you can ride atvs and 4x4s and permits can be purchased in town.
Stunning options for hiking, biking and mushroom hunting surround you here on the central Oregon Coast. With rainforest on one side of HWY 101 and coastal dunes on the other, there are many opportunities to explore different types of forested areas and trails.
Wildlife enthusiasts are just minutes away from the Dean Creek Elk Viewing wildlife recreational area on HWY 38. This large herd can be seen daily grazing in the meadows.

Two RV spots are situated together on a large private portion of land where you will be surrounded by cattle and horses. Creek runs along lower land. You are welcome to explore but please don't climb fences and make sure to keep gates closed. Verizon service can be weak sometimes. This is for those who want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet in solitude. RV stocked with movies a couple puzzles and some games. Ask about farm fresh eggs. We arrived around 7 on a Friday due to heavy traffic. Quick check in, we had reserved site 5 but they had several vacancies and suggested a better spot, so we took 14 instead. It was lovely! Up a small hill to the river, where we played fisher people and caught an orange leaf. Dog chased ball in the field, bathroom facilities are decent. It’s a scenic 30-40 minute drive into town.

What a beautiful spot. Quiet and peaceful, with some lovely horses in the next pasture. Close to Roseburg and not far from the Umpqua river, lots of fun stuff to do. One of our favorite places we've ever camped!

The camp is exactly what they say it is: Primitive. Not dry camping, tho. Flush toilets and showers are located near the entrance, and appear to be near new construction and are kept clean and stocked. Individual sites are rather large. Water spigots are located around the park. The price per night is fair. We enjoyed the ripe blackberries that were in season and many of the sites are right on the Smith River.
With only one location for showers and toilets near the entrance, it can be a hike to get to them from the far end. Maybe 200 yards from the furthest sites, so pay attention to the map. It seems only certain sites are available on HipCamp, as only 8 or so were listed as available to us, but there were many, many more vacancies during our stay. A few pull thru's are available. The site competes with two BLM free, first come, first serve dry campsites that seem to draw more campers. But, the showers, flush toilets and water for us tent campers was worth the price.
The camp host, who was not Jared, was very friendly and helpful. We both agreed it the right choice for us, and would stay there again.

We actually moved to site 18 that was recommended to us. Short walk to the serene river. Very quiet location. Directions had not been sent to us. So we traveled some challenging roads to get there. Don’t follow Google maps! Get directions from host. Good clean bathhouse.

When I first arrived I was a bit confused because I didn’t expect the RV hookup spot to be next to an existing camper, but once we got settled in we had a lovely stay! Super duper peaceful and gorgeous spot. I will say that if someone was staying in the camper, it wouldn’t have felt quite as private, but regardless it is a beautiful and serene spot not too far from the highway and amazing for a night. I went for a stroll at sunset and was greeted by two super friendly horses coming down the hill towards me, and I had such a nice time petting and hanging out with them at sunset. Would recommend this place!

The Field is a great little gem on the Oregon Coast in Coos Bay. Close to the Sand Dunes for exploring. We went to Sunset Beach for a little morning tide pooling session but hear Horsfall Beach is nice too. We were pleasantly surprised to find some stellar mountain bike rides at the Whiskey Run Trails on Beaver Hill. There is something for everyone with 9 interconnected trails of varying degrees and difficulties. And closed out the night with food and beverage at the local 7 Devils Brewery. The Host, Zach, was very accommodating making this simple setup the perfect location to visit.

Was exactly what was promised - a quiet spot in a field! It was freshly mowed and there were beautiful wildflowers blooming. In the morning, I was greeted with peacocks, geese, and crows.
The driveway was a little steep, but Zach was super responsive to my phone call and walked me down, and my rig was able to handle it just fine.

Beautiful and quiet , no hookups that was not a deal breaker since this is what we were looking for but the bonus was very clean bathrooms and hot showers . Only problem I had was I took google recommendations for a route and all I’ll say is don’t take BLM road off hwy 38 with a R.V. !!!!!!
It should have been advised on the hip camp app . Best way to get there is off hwy 101 north of REEDSPORT . LOVED IT AND WILL RETURN

We absolutely loved staying at Zack’s place! He and his wife Nicole are incredibly kind and warm-hearted. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed.
They helped us fill up our RV’s water tank, gave us great recommendations for places to visit, and even invited us to pick cherries from their tree, play with their children and animals, and enjoy their trampoline and pool.
They went far beyond what you’d expect from RV hosts: it felt like visiting old friends. The property itself is beautiful: spacious, green, quiet, and peaceful.
We highly recommend staying with Zack and Nicole!! you’re sure to have a heartwarming, memorable experience. 😊
