This campsite is a pull thru road that has a sun and wind block overlooking local farm fields. Please note that SELF-CONTAINED vehicles are required for this site, as this is a dry camp with no water access or restrooms. Camp is two miles from freeway exit yet a mile from any home other than the working homestead that was started in 1890 with huge barn built in 1906 next door. This is a great place to rest for the night or a week. - simple, safe, and private out of the way. From I-84 you will take exit 198 for Lorenzen/McClintock Rd. Turn onto Lorenzen. Drive one mile until you get to an intersection next to a grain bin. Turn left (west) and drive for almost one mile. As you near the two openings for the site, you will see the sun shelter directly on your left. You want to turn at the 2nd opening, by the sign that says IN. You can pull up right next to the shelter and set up your space however you like. That way, when you leave you will exit by the sign that says OUT and be headed back towards the interstate like you came.
This site is 12 miles west from the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up. 8 miles east of Echo Ridge Winery, Sno Road Winery, Echo historical museum, and Echo Golf Course. Simple dining can be found in Echo at H and P cafe and in nearby Stanfield at Broken Barrel Restaurant/Bar with great burgers.

We have a small area in our Alpaca pasture designated for campers. We are a short drive (2miles) to down town Hermiston. Our ranch has been here since the 1940's and has decreased in size since its days as a potato farm. The Alpacas are shy but curious. They are not dangerous but do not like dogs 🐕🦺 and other small animals. (Please keep pets on a leash) We remove the Alpacas and mow the camping areas but please keep in mind that this is a pasture that is used when campers are not present. Please be prepared. This is a working ranch and there will be animals🦙 , bugs🐜 , and poop💩 in the pasture.
River Front Park on the Umatilla River is within walking distance and the Columbia River is a short drive. In the summer we have several farms in the area with fresh produce for sale and Blueberry picking just down the road. We are just off the main highway between Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla Easy to access for all size RVs on all paved roads. All campers are welcome to pick a spot on our spacious lush lawns surrounded by fragrant lavender fields. Pets are welcome and feel free to wander our alfalfa hay fields and long rows of colorful lavender. We are close to all the area attractions, wineries, golf courses, restaurants and historic sites Crockett Road Lavender Farm an active lavender producing operation and a country themed lavender boutique is on site if you wish to shop!
One note--We do not have full RV hookups. Both Hipcamp sites on the farm do have water hooks. And, in a pinch, we can get power to you if absolutely needed. But there are no sewer hookups and no official electricity hookups.

Last Chance Getaway is a small eleven acre farm exceptionally situated in the gorgeous Walla Walla Valley. There are level access and pull through camp sites along the Burlingame Canal and the South fork of the Little Walla Walla river (a creek). Enjoy nature here on the Old Oregon trail in the form of beaver ponds, coyote song, deer trails, bird watching and star gazing - just a half mile from the historic Whitman Mission.
Park on the partial pavement (Mountain and Garden Sites) or drive gently on the grass to one of the well separated sites. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit.
There is self service firewood for sale. Fresh eggs most days. Both available as an "extra" on the app. ($10, $5)
Orchard Site and Park Site are shady and cool on the north side of the drive. Park Site is nestled in the trees next to the barn. Orchard site has mature trees for both shade and sunshine. Park site is closest to a water spigot and is within reach of a 110amp electrical outlet with your extension cord. No A/C or high amp use please.
Mountain Site and Garden site are both situated along the Burlingame Canal, a historic waterway and engineering marvel worth googling. Both have an unobstructed east facing view of farmland and the Blue Mountains - perfect for full moons and sunrises. These two sites are generally in the shade around dinner time. Note: The canal is empty August and Sept
Creekside Site is the newest site. Fully fenced. Full hook up. Private and secluded.

We had a great time at Philip's! He and Oso greeted us on arrival and Philip gave some tips as to how to get the best view from his location as well as wineries he prefers, etc. It was nice to be a little further out of town, yet close to town and other activities. We were able to walk to the Whitman Mission. I would definitely stay here again!

After a long day of driving, we pulled into the lot and was greeted by Mickey with a friendly smile and warm welcome. He let us know right from the start that if anything we’re not up to expectations, he wants to know.
The following morning he happily greeted us again and offered to show us around and meet the farm animals. Our kids were so excited to see the animals and pet some of them. Mickey was so patient in explaining things and answering questions from a 5 & 3 year old.
Overall, this place is an easy 11/10. Nice well kept location, plenty of things to see and do around the farm to keep kids entertained, and an incredibly kind host.
Thank you Mickey for your kindness and welcoming our family to your farm. The kids won’t stop talking about the animals and loved the peacock feathers!

Nice and quiet. Lovely setting. Directions are a bit confusing though- it would have been helpful to know that we turn left right before the first Deer Creek sign (there isn’t really a road - just drive diagonally across the beautiful front lawn towards the next Deer Creek sign. Then, down the hill towards the creek and final sign. We parked perpendicular to the creek.

Had a peaceful night of camping at the lavender farm! My dog had a great time being able to run and explore off leash. Directions were clear, communication great. I stayed in my teardrop trailer right next to the fields. We had a fabulous sunset after a lovely day of wine tasting in the area. Easy place to stay in the vicinity of lots of great wineries. It is an open lawn/field so not sectioned off to be “private” but that is as advertised. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

My husband and I only got to stay one night while on a roadtrip through the area, but would have loved to spend more time on this beautiful, peaceful farm! The hosts were so helpful in getting us situated and gave us a brief tour of the lavender production barn. The store was full of so many lavender items and we got to pick some lavender to take home out of the many varieties. The bathroom/shower house was very nice. If we ever have a chance to stay again, we'd do it in a heartbeat! Thank you to our gracious hosts! ✨️

We found this site easily, directions were clear. Michael came out to meet us and made sure we knew he was available if we needed anything. Other than that, he left us alone and gave us privacy, which was greatly appreciated. Beautiful landscaped property with a nice green lawn for the dog.
