Micone Ranch

Our place is 28 acres, and you can camp anywhere. We can host many people but only want one group at a time. Keep in mind that winter brings snow, and we have a small bridge to cross and a slanted driveway. We are open year-round but make sure your tires can handle our terrain. Reserve a spot and then add any additional tents/rv/vehicles used for sleeping, that will be with you as an additional guest. You can also add extra sleeping structures under the extra tab. Huge windy driveway can accommodate rv campers. A creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Cleared spots available in the non-snow months are small so tent camping only. It is densely wooded. We do have goats in this field. but they are generally shy. Camping areas that people have liked are up top by the top field gate, or down in the field that our large chicken coop is in. There are no large animals in those areas, but chickens do make noises. Up top we have roosters that make noise about 5 am. the lower field on the right is the quietest. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. If you own an extra-wide RV's you should check its width before booking. The camp site has scenic river views and is quiet. The setting is unique in that behind you are 1000+ acres of pristine upland sage range land with no humans. The river feels wonderful come hot summer for rafting, floating, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and relaxing. A short drive along river and you can find class I - class 5 rapids, or perhaps you want to soak in the geothermal hot springs, go paddle board in the nearby reservoir or simply sleep and star gaze! You can book a raft trip or bring your own raft or inner-tubes. You can ride your horses or go fishing. Hike scenic mountains and see herds of deer. Super cool spot!
