Big rig-friendly
Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
We are located on the Weiser River, within walking distance of the Country Coffee Cabin Café on Highway 95. The Weiser River Trail, the Post Office, Library, and local Mercantile in the Village of Midvale (Pop. 200) are all just a short walk away. Our property sits beneath the iconic Midvale Water Tower. There is a public boat launch a short distance from us for access to the Weiser River. The RV hookup is next to a small fenced fruit orchard/garden designed to keep deer out. You will have a 30 AMP hookup and water—no dump. The nearest dump site is 8 miles away at the fairgrounds in Cambridge, ID. Every year on Memorial Day weekend, the annual Weiser River Wagon Train and Ride passes through Midvale, camping overnight in the town park with their horses and wagons. In April, there may be a cattle drive right through Main Street, just a block away. In July, the town hosts a Fourth of July parade. Small-town living at its best—quiet, restful, and a great place to stop overnight or stay awhile. This site is situated in the small village of Midvale, Idaho (pop. 200). There is a level site on gravel for parking 5th-wheel or RV. Access via circular drive. There is a field where you can walk your dog. It is next to the Weiser River. Guests must control their animals and pick up after them. We are in the City next to the Volunteer Fire House/Ambulance. There are children in the neighborhood, so not always super quiet. We are near the Library, Post Office, Slim's Tavern and the local grocery store, The Mercantile. The Country Coffee Cabin, local eating establishment is only a block away. Midvale's Park is nearby, as is access to the Weiser River Trail, an 84 mile trail for horses, walking and biking (no motorized vehicles). There are bulletin boards in the Library and the Mercantile that will tell you about all that's going on. Plus, the Weiser River Trail has an information board as you come into town.
