Two cows roam the front pasture and my goal is to grow their numbers to be able to improve the soil health here at the farm.. -My tiny home is in the area of the sites, but far enough away to maintain privacy. Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful. -There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a compost TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot. -There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. We would love to share our beautiful wooded 8 acres. We live here but your site is far enough from our house for privacy. The RV pad is surrounded by trees. Our RV space will easily park a 38ft. RV. It has full hookups with either 30 amp or 50-amp power. You are only 2 miles from shopping and only miles from Lackamas Lake and Battleground Lake for hiking, swimming, biking, boating and fishing. Down the road about 1/4 mile is Velvet Acres barn where you can buy fresh produce in July, August and September, then in October it's a Pumpkin Patch. Be sure while you’re here you visit Vancouvers waterfront downtown. Great shops and excellent places to eat. On weekends there’s a large farmers market that has all kinds of fresh produce. While here be sure to drive out to the gorge, it is one of the more breathtaking sites in the NW. We are 10 miles from the Columbia River and 36 miles from Multnomah Falls. On a nice day you can drive to the beach to cool off, it's about 90 miles to Longbeach. Being in the wetlands we have a lot of trees for privacy. The RV area is at the end of an area that is gated for security. There is a grassy area outside your door and a grassy area out back of your RV. We have trails you are welcome to use. You will see bunnies and all kinds of birds as well as deer that visit now and then. Although they have built homes on the west side the fence and trees give plenty of privacy. They recently started a home that should be done within a month. Contact me for updates. This is a perfect place if visiting the area or it’s a great place for snowbirds or workers that are in this area for weeks or months. Text me ahead for openings. We do consider long term stays. My husband and I loved staying at Trent's cabin! We were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway where we could take long walks in the woods and relax in a comfortable cabin at night. The wood stove hot tub was amazing. Trent was a great host and was very attentive to our needs while also making sure we had all the privacy that we could want. I would stay here again anytime!

1 night at Red Cloud Ranch

My wife and I only stayed one night in the “glamping pod with gorgeous views at Red Cloud Ranch” and the description and pictures are exactly as described on their Hipcamp listing. It was very cozy with a small heater and all the bedding you need. Shannon provided great directions and met us when we arrived, she was super nice and helpful. The drive to the property is pretty magical on a clear day with easterly views of Mt. Hood and cute black cows dotting the sides of their road. It wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting that there is 3-4 mile gravel and dirt road leading up to the property. Also, at the time of this review, there was no shower which we were aware of. If we were staying more than one night glamping, a shower would be a great addition. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay would definitely come back if we were in the area again!

we had some unfortunate weather for our scheduled trip and so we needed to cut it short. That was the sad part. Melanie is great and her land is wonderful. Really nice to be so close to the river.. We look forward to going back and really getting to enjoy the place next time.

Weekend Trip to Molalla Ripple

First off we felt very welcomed. We loved the livestock, the river, the amenities and all the special details they put into this place. The lights around the campsites, the clean bathrooms and showers, the firepits, the water, the shared common space. All the wildlife was incredible also. We saw a coyote, deer, bald eagles, chipmunks and a common Merganser. Such a great place! We will be back.

This is a great place to camp. It is kept clean and well maintained. Great access to the river. Hosts are great to work with.

This is the Riverside Meadow. Lots of room for groups here. It's about the size of a football field. If your group has Riverside RV and wants to add tents, you'll be in this area.

What a cool place to camp right on the Molalla river. I look forward to coming back during nicer weather! Melanie was super nice, helpful, and accommodating and my dogs and I enjoyed the area and the resident doggos.

Very well kept, gated and quiet campsite. Electric and water provided. Numerous deers walking through the site. I highly recommend camping at this Hipcamp campsite host.

I loved pulling up to Melanies chicken farm. Upon arriving she showed me where my camp spot was along with the path to the river. She was very kind to my daughter and I. Beautiful and peaceful property. I will most certainly be back!
