1 night at Red Cloud Ranch
My wife and I only stayed one night in the “glamping pod with gorgeous views at Red Cloud Ranch” and the description and pictures are exactly as described on their Hipcamp listing. It was very cozy with a small heater and all the bedding you need. Shannon provided great directions and met us when we arrived, she was super nice and helpful. The drive to the property is pretty magical on a clear day with easterly views of Mt. Hood and cute black cows dotting the sides of their road. It wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting that there is 3-4 mile gravel and dirt road leading up to the property. Also, at the time of this review, there was no shower which we were aware of. If we were staying more than one night glamping, a shower would be a great addition. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay would definitely come back if we were in the area again!

Weekend Trip to Buena Vista Lavender Farm
The tiny home was very cute and cozy! We especially loved the kitchen space. It was perfect for two people. The property was peaceful and well maintained, considering it is a working farm. The animals were all lovely to see (avoid the brown rooster though) & we saw lots of chunky tadpoles in the pond. The hosts were generous in sharing fresh blackberries, pears, apples, and grapes. We ran into a few other guests as well, who were very kind. A great place to stay for those wanting to be in nature!

This treehouse was so fun for our weekend family trip! It’s a bit of a walk to get there, but such a cute setup. So nice to have a toilet, sink and shower with warm water!
The host and co-host were so helpful and even helped get my favorite hat back after I left it on checkout day 🤦♀️

Connie does such an excellent job with the properties on Buena Vista Lavender Farm. The views were as advertised, the home was impeccably maintained, the directions were clear, and the hospitality was superb. We stayed here at "Little Tiny" for one night on a Pacific Northwest road trip, and it was just as stunning as tent camping on the Pacific Ocean at Second Beach in Olympic National Park. Would recommend to anyone!

Buena Vista Lavender Farm is a beautiful place run by a caring and welcoming family. Our family of 4 stayed in "Big Tiny," an expertly appointed tiny home that was comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen (microwave popcorn, oatmeal, tea, coffee), and the things that made it feel like home (books, blankets, games). Note that one of the beds is accessed by a ladder and could be difficult for less agile guests, though I did appreciate the safety railing across that sleeping loft. Our favorite part of the stay was watching the sun set over the lavender fields, then going over to the barn to meet and pet all the farm animals. Connie and her family are gracious hosts and told us all about their resident chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas, donkey, mini horse, kittens, and dogs. Of all the places we stayed on our west coast road trip, this stay was voted #1 by my two daughters (ages 9 and 13).

This was my fourth stay at the lavender farm. My little dog loves it because he can run without a leash and he’s safe. I have stayed 3 times at the tiny house and once at the tiny big house. Connie the host is lovely as is her husband and daughter. They’ve always made sure that I have had a lovely stay every time

What a fun/adventurous stay. This place was more than a treehouse. It had everything you needed for a quick rest during traveling or an over night with kids. It’s a magical foresty oasis. The kids loved the zip line, netted hammock and a little tv to wind down. The outdoor giant bathtub looked super fun but time didn’t allow for it. Comfortable, spacious, full bathroom, toaster oven, microwave and everything you need for a restful and enjoyable stay. It’s a must to stay here just to walk down the ramps in a jungle setting that lead up to this hidden gem.

The tiny house was lovely nice shower and toilet and a balcony to sit out on. And my dog was able to run around except I put him on the leash when we went to look at the farm and the animals. There was internet and tv and it was private and peaceful. If there had been availability I would’ve stayed an extra night. There was also a bed to sleep upstairs but I preferred to sleep downstairs. It was perfect.

My only regret about this stay was that it wasn’t longer. I stayed in the Big Tiny House and it was adorable! It had everything I needed and more. There were so many little touches and the sunset and sunrise were stunning. I hope I get to stay again some time!

Perfect winter treehouse! We were so impressed with this place - super charming and well thought out and nice and warm. The hammock in the loft was cozy and we slept great in the queen bed. The zip line was fun too. It was very clean and tidy as well and quiet for being in the middle of a neighborhood (it’s quite tucked back - you feel like you’re far from everything).
When they say the trail in is slippery when wet, believe them and take it slow. I’d recommend a headlamp if you arrive after dark like we did - There’s plenty of motion lights on the trail but that made me feel a little more sure footed going in carrying stuff.
Highly recommend this stay!
